Hotel Perla Del Sur

An impeccably maintained hotel featuring an incredibly accommodating staff. Perfectly situated in the historic city center and mere steps from the beach, its location is ideal. The crowning jewel is the third-floor rooftop patio—a wonderful retreat fully equipped with tables, sunbeds, and adjustable shades. The rooms and refrigerator are noticeably small—insufficient for storing basic breakfast food. Also, the lack of air conditioning is a drawback; the ceiling fan helps with ventilation, but it isn't always enough to keep the room comfortable.

I stayed with my friend here for 2 nights and 3 days and it was an amazing stay!! The hotel owner and hi daughter were superr friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and very beautiful. The location is perfect and right by the beach - a literal 2 min walk. We checked out at 11am however our flights werent until 9 pm but they let us keep our bags in the storage area and they even let us come back and take a shower! I would recommend 10/10!!

The communication by the staff was excellent. I was arriving after the front desk/ reception closed, so they sent me a WhatsApp with explicit instructions for how to get in, access my room and asked me to notify them if there were any emergencies or problems. The room was comfortable and just what I needed for a quick one-night stop. The value matched what I received. The location was excellent! It's just a short walk to the boardwalks and beaches, great cafes and restaurants and shops! The owner gave me a beach towel and they have luggage storage, a shower area/ bathroom and a terrace where I was able to do some work as well. The only issue I ran into was arriving at night and not realizing that a taxi wouldn't be able to access the front door of the hotel because it's on a pedestrian walkway. It was no big deal - but good to know for people who may have large bags or can't walk due to mobility issues or just generally get confused by travel. The construction I think is what led to confusion- so obviously, not a permanent thing, but probably nice to note for people who aren't familiar with the area/ city.

Once in a while you just luck out and find a gem, and that is Perla del Sur without a doubt. Checks every box: Location check… super close to a great stretch of the beach. Clean and modern check… the place looks like it was remodeled yesterday super tasteful and really really clean. Fair and reasonable price check… value for what we got was incredible. Lastly we were treated like royalty by everyone. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Can’t think of anything.

The best part was that the property is a 2min walk to the beach Not an issue for me but for someone who has mobility issues, this whole area requires a lot of walking from train station down to the hotels (which are by the beach) in general. A lot of stairs.

Didn't sleep well.

Reliable internet, climate control inside the room, close to beaches and a soundproof room with a balcony made this a good choice for me. I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

No Breakfast but fridge and water cooker available. Breakfast options and mini supermarket just around. Location close to stairs / escalator to uptown and the beach. Staff / Owner family very friendly and supportive.

Nice and clean place. Very close to the beach. The owner was very nice and helpful. If you’re using the metro or love being in the center of the city, it’s not the best location. This location is very close to the beach and if you want to go to the city center, you have to use a lot of stairs or using the elevator that has limited hours, sometimes a long line and cost 0.5 euros.

The staff is amazing! The bed's super comfy, the location is a block from the beach, and the air con is really good Parking can be a struggle and there really isnt a view since the hotel is a little side street. But you dont come for the room but for the location.

Everything was perfect! They were so great to accommodate early check-in and late checkout for me. The room was lovely, super clean and had bluetooth throughout which was awesome. The location is perfect, so close to the beach (which they provide towels for) and close to many great restaurants and bars. The rooftop also has a nice view of the town and the beach. I had such a comfortable, relaxed time & will definitely come back next time I’m in Torremolinos. Thank you for everything! Cinco estrellas ⭐️

This hotel offers a truly luxurious and comfortable experience right in the heart of Torremolinos—yet remarkably quiet despite its central location. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room was well-insulated and fully equipped. The service was outstanding: the staff helped me find parking, accommodated a late check-in after midnight, and even provided a towel and umbrella for the beach and access to a shower on the day of my checkout. I highly recommend booking this hotel without hesitation. I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you again!

The location was very weird and the taxi driver had to ask how to get there. terrible location.
