Orient Inn

I've made numerous trips to Tashkent and always try to stay at the Orient Inn. The owner / receptionist is extremely gracious and welcoming and a number of times I've had an early flight and they have managed to find a room before official check in. The rooms are newly refurbished, in perfect condition. The breakfast is generous. The location is central for everything. The price is very competitive especially for what you get. On some visits I have had very noisy people in the room next door but that is out of the control of the hotel. On some visits the breakfast has been very busy if a tour group is staying.

The rooms were clean when I checked in and I received regular cleaning maintenance. I do wish more than one roll of toilet paper was provided for the entirety of my stay so I didn’t have to keep asking for more and I wish that the towels were replaced, but the housekeeping staff tidied my items when they came to clean which was appreciated. Although the hotel wasn’t close to the airport or any of Tashkent’s main attractions, it was very close to a restaurant and a grocery store which was convenient and there are bistro tables outside of the hotel which makes for great people watching. The blackout curtains didn’t fully cover the window, which provided a beautiful view during the day, but at night featured too many business’ lights. I only went down to breakfast one day but that was because when I went almost everything was picked over so there was almost no food left. I’m not sure if there just wasn’t enough staff to keep refilling the plates or if not enough food was put out in the first place- my suspicion is the later. I was traveling with a pet. Their website originally said that was OK but then there was some confusion when I was checking in about whether it was OK. Overall, they did accommodate me but the 20 minutes of panic I felt until they decided was not my favorite experience.

The owner let us check in earlier than usual, which was very nice. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was served from early in the morning and quite big choice of food. Around 10 minutes walk from the metro station and there is 24/7 shop next to the hotel and delicious Afghani restaurant. We could ask the reception to order a taxi to the airport.

Near to everything and there is a spa called lake spa. I am highly recommending it. The reception staff were really helpful and super polite. The breakfast really nice Not allowing visitors

I arrived and the POS wasn't working, ero stanco dal viaggio. The gentleman at the reception asked me to go to an ATM to pay. He couldn't wait until the next day for the payment. In the bathroom non shelf under mirror
