The room was clean and had a great view. The staff was very friendly. The building and furniture were quite old, but well maintained, so it was OK.

The sink is a bit hard to adjust temperature. When I turned hot, the water became so hot; when I turned cold, the water was so cold.

buildings and facilities are old, but clean and quiet. 3 mins from the station. staffes are nice. air conditioningsystem was stopped during night. so felt cold in the morning.

The location is convenient. The hotel is not "young", and it is clearly seen in the interior of the rooms.

It’s near the station and available for baggage store before check-in. However the carpet can be a problem as hair of others sticks to my slipper and to the bathroom.

I prefer hotels that are close to transport hubs; have basic facilities suited to solo traveller (mainly, washing machines); and have convenient eating options nearby (usually found in/around á train station). Washington hotel met these requirements. The hotel shows its age around the edges, but there was actually some charm in the old style gilt mirrors, etc. Other small bonuses: quiet, even though close to train line (Tottori not very busy anyway); good view of city and surrounding hills from upper floor room. Room size more than adequate. Too bad I didn't have the time to stay another couple of days. I would have enjoyed it.

It’s quite old hotel. Toilet had no “warm seat” system. Very unusual in Japan☹️
