Really lovely Hotel , beautiful grounds & huge swimming pool , staff were really nice Rebecca on reception very helpful , manager was very nice after pool filters broke . Manager took us to the beach , lovely man Breakfast ok but limited , bacon was still alive & coffee terrible & juices watered down . No air com in room & the bathroom water tank clunked , rattled & whistled all the time through the night , trying to get taxis nearly impossible & 6 min trip around €20 . Not really a world wide tourist spot mainly locals

Most likely the hotel was a very nice 4 stars once. Still got potentional with a great location and the surrounding grounds. Maybe a facelift could get it up and going again. The hotel looked and felt a bit 'tired' It desperately needs an overhaul and with some money spent on it, it could be a very very nice place to stay for a few days and possible even a week.

Our stay was very good. The property needs a bit of updating, however, it is clean, has plenty of areas/ gardens for exploring and the parking is free and secure. The bonus was of course the Olympic-sized pool with its amazing views and fantastic DJ! The DJ was extremely passionate about his work, friendly and professional. The breakfast was quite diverse and plentiful, so there was enough choice even for the fussiest eaters. Squeaky doors and windows, shower pressure very low, cold water and water running out whilst showering, pool changing rooms felt dark and scary (especially for my teenage daughters).

The hotel is located in an old noble residence, which has everything you expect from a Sicilian real estate: an astonishing garden, beautiful courts, palms, olive trees, sea and mountains views. The pool is also typical Sicilian: a 50 meter 8-lanes pool in a structure that is in urgent need of renovation, nevertheless a great plus for the hot days. The pool is open to everyone, so it's a mix of hotel guests and local people. Our room was very small, but clean and comfortable. Don't miss the restaurant: the food is simply amazing and the price is half compared to any international standard. The structure is in need of a general renovation, though it's not in a bad condition. The walls are rather thin so you'll hear much of what happens in the other rooms. In any case it's a rather quiet place, the noise was not very disturbing for us.

Nice hotel if you want to relax for a few days. There is a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and diner. Breakfast buffet is lovely. Dinner is at 25 euro pp but offers buffet with desserts and drinks included. The city Trabia is not very cosy so we prefered dinner at the restaurant. Everyone is very kind. Pool is very hot water, so not really “refreshing” when its also 38 degrees outside :).

This place is a hidden gem. Amazing buildings from XVIII century in Sicilian style, antic furniture, lovely gardens. Rooms spacious and very clean. Towels changed every day. Good air conditioning in rooms makes sicilian summer cooler. Free olimpic size pool available for guests of the hotel. At the back - olive trees garden and lemon trees, grapes, local organic market opened every day. Stone throw to San Nicola with nice local restaurants and shops. Excellent breakfast. Hotel staff - very welcoming. Excellent customer service in the restaurant - Francesco is truly a master of hospitality. He and his staff will make your stay very special. I have stayed for one week and I will be missing this place. Swimming pool - free for guests, but toilets there do need refurbishment. Music on swimming pool - it is just too loud. Really nothing more to dislike. Another suggestions: Car is necessary to get there - located up the hills (free parking available). For elderly or handicap people it may be to hard to get there by foot. Coffe and tea facilities with cattle would be useful in rooms.

It was clean 1) there is no pool!!! You can visit for free a large, crowded public pool about a 1km away from the hotel and that closes as 18:45. And you cant use it without swimmimg hat. The day was ruined for the kids as they hoped to have at least 10min swim before closing, but as they got in the pool where rudly kikcked out as they didnt had the hats, not something you would imagine to bring to holiday in July.... 2) the breackfast was only some sweets and omlet that was not fit for human consumption. Not even close to 4* hotel 3) the family room even had a kitchen unit, but not even 1 glass or cup or anything The hotel is normal 2* hotel, nothing close even to 4*

Everything was fine, super breakfast. 100% recommendation from my side. Nothing, everything was good.

A great price for staying at this grand holiday hotel resort. Great food and drinks.

Nice place . I liked the area and the breakfast. It was a type of an old aircon in the room that was really noisy.

Nice place, reception really helpful, clean room and toilet, towels and air conditioning available Really hard to find an address, we were lost for one hour, reception phone wasnt working to ask for directions, asked though booking messenger to send a pin on a map to Find it, we got message with „.” after we already checked in

The hotels old buildings and beautiful surrounding are full Sicillian charm. The beds were slightly old but very comfortable
