Breakfast was not as good as any previously experienced. Difficulty into getting in. No personnel available to assist into getting in. Thanks to a neighbor who lived on the floor above who helped us locate staff.

The room was really clean, good breakfast, nice stuff.

Not far from old town ant port. Cheap parking near the apartment.

Located 200 meters from the station, centrally. Very clean, large breakfast! Strong WiFi. Very clean toilet and hot water. Everything was OK

Good location, helpful staff (doesn’t speak much of English, tho), AC works, good shower For some reason good environment for mosquitos to grow and multiply, a bit outdated facilities, a bit of noise from the street, cold floors, plastic cover around the mattress that makes noise

Quite basic breakfast but a good amount. Staff were nice and helpful. It was very clean. Said it had a balcony but it did not really just somewhere for one person to stand , looked onto dirty roof and high walls in an inner space Entrance and 4 keys to enter very difficult to access. Room dark without the light on.

The staff we great, very friendly and very informative and spoke English which is rare to find in Sicily ?! The place is nice, comfortable and clean, walking distance from the centre of the city and the beach! Couldn’t ask for more. There were a few small things in the bathroom that could be improved. the shower tap kept coming off and the hot water took long to come. And a few wear and tear signs.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Stella Maris. The location is good for walking into the old town, and there is cheap car parking not too far away. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace, and the breakfast staff are superb - friendly and efficient. Thanks also to Laura who helped us out on occasions, and organised breakfast at a local cafe because we were leaving early. Although the room was large, there was little room to put our clothes, so we ended up living out of our suitcases. We also do not agree with the policy of having towels changed every 3 days (or paying for more frequently) We do support conservation, and are often willing to go a couple of days, but we have never been asked to pay for more frequent changes. Despite my comments, our overall stay at Stella Maris was good.

The building and facility is highly secured where you’ll need to go through multiple doors. it’s not because the neighborhood was sketchy because it is fine. make sure you ask the the staff about whether you’re parked on the street is ok. When street cleaning takes place you won’t be able to park a one or another side of the street. nothing.

Nice town and good restaurants best so far we had in Sicily. Plenty beech places right next to the historic center. Breakfast was nice, I was asked if I prefer savory or sweet food Had to activate my cellphone (cost me ten euros) to get messages from booking about how to get to my room

Breakfast was at a local cafe - all good, they were very helpful to this non-Italian speaking visitor. Ham roll and coffee was a nice change. Four separate keys to get into the room, street door, outer terrace door, main door, room door - #2 seemed very worn so I struggled to get it to work.
