Great Wolf Lodge Traverse City

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is well-maintained and clean. The only areas for improvement are the fitness center, as there are no weights, bars, or weight machines, and the parking fee, which is quite expensive. In my opinion, it doesn’t make sense to charge guests for parking when they are already paying to stay at the hotel.

Paying $20 a day (plus 6% sales tax!) to park on top of already steep room rates is ridiculous given the location and huge parking lots! Makes no sense except as a money grab.

Requested top floor room in advance, didn’t get one on arrival. People upstairs were stomping and jumping around until 1am, security was sent the first time and didn’t even knock on the door. Sent a second time and only after they were caught lying about confronting the noisy room did they actually ask the people to quiet down. First request was at 11:30pm, issue not resolved until 1am! Ridiculous.

Did not like the fact that they charge you 20 bucks for parking in their parking lot makes no sense.

Nice place to stay and water park is also good.

Kids loved all the activities that they put did through out the day.

When we arrived to our room we noticed the patio door did not lock. We pulled back the curtain to put down the metal bar to secure the door. We noticed bodily fluids on the back side of the curtain. We texted “Willow” the assistant and they responded that they would come clean the curtain and fix the door. The next day we left for the day and returned around 6:30pm and nothing was cleaned or fixed. I texted “Willow” again and they apologized for someone not fixing the issue. I had stayed it’s 7:30om and we leave tomorrow morning and this is unacceptable. They gave us a voucher for breakfast the next morning. We spoke to the waiter at the restaurant because he asked how we go the voucher for breakfast. He was in shock when we told him our story but we were very kind about it. The waiter and his manager went and got us a half dozen doughnuts and 2 free drinks from their Dunken Doughtnut restaurant. The waiter and his manager were more apologetic than the hotel staff. Very clean room, Tiny bathroom. Tiny sink. Nice separation between couch and bed. Parking is $20 per night and we didn’t know that till we checked in.

The room was nice although I've had just as nice a lower priced hotels. Great Wolf is geared for entraining children. The water park is for kids. It is expensive at $320 a night, plus $20 to park your car ( was I supposed to walk ther?).

Clean room, Family-friendly

Very expensive for what you get. $20 bucks for a burger and fries. You don’t get housekeeping anymore - I don’t know. I guess spending $550 a night I expected more. $175 for an arcade and all of the toys didn’t work for more than a day. In fact, one lamp we bought that required batteries were unable to open. It just left a bad taste with how much money it costs and what we walked away with. It’s OK if I spent $300 a month a night I would’ve felt OK maybe better for families with younger kids mine were teenagers.

The rooms were adorable, the waterpark was awesome. The staff was friendly and the activities for the kids were great! I have no complaints, this is an awesome place to stay!

Great Place for family fun and vacation. Only down side, everything paid by card , things are very expensive.

Hours to the water park need to go later during the summer time. Disappointed that our grand daughter was allowed one night to go down big slide with us. Then the next day on our whole day there she wasn't allowed.
