It’s a cozy old‑school home with all the modern stuff you’d want. The garden view is honestly amazing — one of those spots where you just chill for a minute. If you’re coming in by ferry, it’s about a 20‑minute walk to get here. Nice little stroll, nothing too crazy.

Breakfast and location great. Walking distance from lovely restaurants along the lake. Marina the host is very accommodating and great company. No complaints. I never leave reviews and felt the service was so good I want to express.

The location is good. The old house has special feeling when compared with hotels. Host in the property was very unfriendly which makes us feel uncomfortable.

Very disappointing experience. The host was unfriendly, unwelcoming, and rude. Her attitude, combined with the rundown condition of the house, made our stay much less enjoyable. I would not stay here again.

We loved the decor, the restored building, the garden, and the location. Breakfast, served in the garden was nothing short of amazing. We had eggs made to order, fresh squeezed orange juice, cheese and ham, and several pots of fresh coffee. The garden was peaceful and welcome and we wish we didn’t have to leave. Nothing.

My husband and I loved our stay here! The staff are so lovely and helpful. Maria had many information packages ready near the entrance and in our room. The space is very well maintained and clean. Our room was very cute with unique furniture and had a very cozy atmosphere. Very unique property with a beautiful and relaxing garden.

Amazing renovated villa with many original features remaining. Absolutely fascinating to stay there. Very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Parking uphill about 200 yards from the property. Fine if walking is not an issue; otherwise, not ideal. We found it was worth it to stay there regardless of the inconvenient parking.

Marina was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was just as beautiful as the photos, the charm of the building remained while keeping a modern and comfortable room. The breakfast was lovely and every part of the stay was authentic. My partner and I stayed here while we married in Lake Como and I could not choose a better place for our trip

Casa Lumaca in Lake Como was an absolute delight. The breakfast was the best of my entire stay — beautifully served on elegant china that made every morning feel special. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive, offering excellent recommendations, and the room itself was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. There wasn’t anything we truly disliked about Casa Lumaca — it was a wonderful stay overall. Travelers should just note that there’s a short walk to reach the entrance, so you’ll need to carry your luggage, but this was not a deal breaker for us. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Como

Our hostess Marina served a very nice breakfast in a lovely setting. She was a wonderful hostess. The property felt like we stepped into a medieval castle, very nice place to stay. No parking available at the hotel, but a short five minute walk to a parking lot. The rooms are on the second and third floor, and you must carry your suitcases up the stairs, as there is no elevator, that was not a problem for us, but if anyone has a physical issue, this may be a little difficult to navigate.

A beautiful old olive mill. Carefully and lovingly restored. Comfortable and relaxing. A very quiet neighborhood and a good respite from a hectic week in Milan. Remoteness but tranquility comes with a price.

Thank you, Marina.. your B&B is true gem, beautiful, well maintained, comfortable, and it's like we are travel back in time. Amazing decoration and beautiful backyard. We won't forget our experience having great breakfast looking out to your beautiful backyard. Casa Lumaca made our trip fulfilled before we went back home. Parking maybe a bit complicated, but it was easy anyway.

Everything was perfect! The proprietor has such incredible attention to detail in decor and guest service! I have travelled the world and stayed in so many places but I feel Casa Lumaca is extra special! I highly recommend the host and property!

The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. All fresh and unique things every day. Beautiful setting and relaxing way to start the day. Loved it! Wouldn't change anything.
