The room was clean. Down side was bathroom being outside the room but I knew this when booking. There was a selection of items in the kitchen to eat and a coffee machine in the corridor which was great. Right next to the train station which was ideal for travelling to and from the airport. Bathroom outside the room and no hot water for the 2 days we were there. No reception area.

Excellent value for the money, entry at the short notice (PIN based), bathroom facilities, coffee... Only the toilet paper, it could be of better quality.

Well located, close to the station. Clean, spacious room.Good to have a coffee machine and breakfast items. Good WiFi. Utterly impersonal. As a solo traveller I felt uncomfortable sharing the property with strangers with no staff presence. Listings should make clear when this is the case. The curtains were flimsy nets which didn't keep light out. In the evening with lights on there was no privacy. On the second night I managed to reach the old and crumbling shutters by leaning a long way out of the window and got them closed, which was better. The orange bedside lights are not bright enough to read by.

The bathroom and the room itself were comfortable and relaxing. The shower was powerful... very powerful.. maybe too powerful... but I didn't mind too much as I like powerful showers. The bed was comfortable the location felt secure and was only a short walk from the centre of town. I arrived by train and it was close for a late-night arrival as much as I didn't like the check-in experience it did make for a quick sleep turnaround time! Despite my comments on the breakfast having a kitchen that all could access was nice as I utilised the microwave for an evening meal and the Tea and Coffee facilities outside of the room were excellent which is almost unheard of in Italy. It seemed as if the owners didn't want to have anything to do with their guests. I tried to pay my city tax to a person but the only time I saw someone was when they were showing someone else a room and as soon as they did they vanished. The city tax had to be left in a tray in the room. The check-in experience wasn't excellent, you had to call a number to get in and then work out getting your key which wasn't too difficult. As a solo traveller having some interactions makes you feel welcome and supported. For a hotel called B&B I was very unimpressed with the breakfast, I know it was advertised that it would be packaged items and nothing fresh but in my opinion, you can't call it a B&B just because there are free packaged items for people to choose from in a kitchen. You expect a proper breakfast that's cared for. Do not expect anything from the breakfast nothing was fresh. The other downside was that on a hot day, you are reliant on an air fan as the air conditioning which was ok but I would have preferred an actual air conditioning unit, as during my stay it was around 37/38 degrees and as an Englishman I needed my air con!

everything is just perfect, its in the city center of trieste, the room is really clean with a coffee machine and snacks all day in the kitchen. nothing it was perfect in terms of location and cleanliness, great value for money
