In general we felt very comfortable and happy, thank you all for your job! There was one day that we didn't get the room done for a misunderstanding I guess... And also one day where the tables of the breakfast room were not set, it seemed there were not enough staff that morning.

Could be better breakfast. ;-)

The good: The eclectic experience of this ultra modern hotel was funky and fun. The staff was extremely helpful and service oriented. The breakfast was OK. Except for the paper cups. Jeee! I didn't come to Italy to eat crappy paper when trying to sip an Italian espresso! I know the American way is trendy but I'm not looking for that when I go to Italy. We only had two short days to enjoy Triest. From 3PM Friday to 3AM Sunday (early flight back home requirements). So, a day and a half, really. Saturday night at 1:40AM the smoke alarm went off and we had to evacuate the building. Apparently someone left an e-cigarette burst in flames in a room. So we couldn't really sleep the only full night we had to no fault of our own.

Breakfast is not for recommendation. One cheese, one salami, one tost, and two different croissant.

It was exceptionally clean and the double bedroom was very big. Late check-in was not an issue and checkout until 11am is also very nice. We received a free non-alcoholic welcome drink and there was a handwritten note for us in the room. So we felt very welcome. A gym is available and it looked nice but I didn't use it as I just had a two night stay. I specifically set "parking" at my filters so I was expecting to have a parking spot either included in my room fare or at least provided by the hotel at extra cost. At least something that tells you "you are in the right spot, park here". However when you get to the hotel you only end up in a little dead-end side street where public parking may be possible if you arrive early. We ended up in a shopping center next to the hotel where you can park for 14€ per day. When checking in to the hotel we figured that this is the space they recommend to the customers as well. Would have been good to know upfront to avoid any confusion (when you already arrive late at night after a long drive) Breakfast was what's to be expected in the price class. Toast you can toast yourself, ham, cheese, pastries. Probably better to get some breakfast outside, especially for a good coffee.

No parking despite having it in booking

Spacious, clean and practical. Good location to walk into the downtown in 15 minutes. There is a big grocery next door too. Breakfast is basic and simple, do not expect the usual selection.
