B&B Piazza Goldoni

Breakfast was lovely…but not available when I got up..not until I was leaving, but I went across the street for coffee. Quite difficult to find..the taxi driver took me to the other end of the same street about 15 minutes away. It wasn’t until I showed him the picture that he returned to correct location at my expense. Getting into the elevator (after climbing stairs with your ?) was challenging. It was very old school, opened the wrong way, so you had to lean up against it to keep it open. Instructions were sketchy…people the next day were sitting at the bottom of the stairs wondering what to do. If I hadn’t told them..they’d probably still be there! ?If I had know there were stairs before the elevator I would have never booked.bed was ok..I was tired and jet lagged..another night,I wouldn’t have been comfortable. Nice balcony out to the street. Farmers market below. No one there to direct you. You’re on your own. Short taxi to port.

Location - close to bus station, historic places, shopping and places to eat Basic, yet enough for me Cleanliness, which is of utmost importance Varied options, organized and neat breakfast area The owner is very nice and welcoming The staff is very good I loved the location, but at night street vehicle traffic noise is very, very loud. You can hear the motorcycles and emergency vehicles alarm as if they were inside the room, even in the third floor. Elevator is kind of antique and has its trick. I was locked inside until by a chance, other guests showed. There was no one in the building to hear me calling for help. The bed mattress is thin and uncomfortable. Also the sheet covering it was extremely thin.

Good check in instructions Clean, spacious room, nice breakfast. toiletries and towels provided. Great location close to the main sights Too much noise from the outside, location next to a busy street WiFi connection was bad, I had to use my data all the time.

Great staff and location. The place is comfortable, and the building puts us inside historical Italy. It was a windy day, and the room window shook and hit the whole night, making it difficult to sleep. The bathroom door should not be glass. Even considering the glass is not fully transparent, it is not very private.

Very good location. The room was freezing and not very clean. There were no curtains in the windows so the wind came in. In the morning the breakfast was very Italian, I made my own breakfast.

It was a bit cold in a room

It was clean Noise. Not just the traffic noise, someone start using wash mashine at 02.30 a.m., it was next door to ours. We couldn’t sleep anymore.

About 20 minutes walk from the station and close to the centre of town. Clean and with air conditioning which was important as the weather was very hot. The bathroom was clean and well equipped but was outside the room and across the corridor. While it was purely for our use it was not convenient. This was not made clear in the advertisement or in the confirmation of our booking.

Great location..!! 15 mins from train staion and in city center..great air conditioning as it was v hot! Breakfast was small but enough. Self check in was a little tricky to begin with..wifi a bit slow but we were moved to another room and it was ok ...

Great location and good communication with the host throughout. Breakfast was delicious in the morning after a long cycle the day before Bed was a little lumpy

The cleaning lady was adorable. Perfect location. The mattress wasn't exactly comfortable, the room looked tired, breakfast was "meh". We found the photos to be rather misleading.
