Great location, friendly and very helpful staff, and everything clean. The pillows were not very comfortable and alternatives were not really available -- the staff did their best with what was around but in a 4* HOTEL I EXPECT TO BE OFFERED A PILLOW that's comfortable for ME -- i.e. there ought to be a wide choice. The room was very small. The air-con was "not available" BECAUSE IT WAS APRIL!! So I'm not allowed to be too hot in April... stupid hotel rule -- as a consequence we opened the window to get some fresh air. That let in a mosquito that then kept me awake all night -- horrible. I trapped it in the bathroom eventually, but dark tiling there meant I couldn't see it in there and so wasn't sure until the morning that it was confined. Full marks to hotel staff when I reported it next day -- they eliminated the mosquito without leaving the room smelling of pesticide -- I forgot to ask what weapon they used! No flannels -- 4* hotel?? No tissues?? No hair-conditioner until day 3. No 5V USB / typeC bedside power ports. So plenty of minor irritations which could all have been fixed by the hotel for very little cost -- just some management common sense and thought. What could have been a perfect 4-night stay was spoiled by multiple mostly-minor inconveniences -- and the poor pillows a major issue because it seriously affected our sleep.

It was close to the port for us to catch a ship. It was okay. Clean. But we’re only there for 13 hours really! The breakfast wasn’t as good as some but it was better than some too!

The hotel was clean and inviting. The room was cozy and modern. Breakfast served was amazing. The hotel was accessible to many shops, restaurants, and the water for great views! The beds were quite firm.

A good location in Trieste, close to the sea front, restaurants bars and station. No kettle in the room to make a drink.

The room was clean and comfortable, and I loved the atmosphere of this small boutique hotel. The decor was classy and homey all at the same time. Our bed was quite comfortable too. The breakfast was exceptional. It was very tasteful and unique. It had all of the foods you'd want for breakfast, to include extras that you wouldn't expect. It was delicious and served in a lovely atmosphere. I was very impressed with the hotel and the service. If we had a question, they were more than willing to help and provide whatever we needed/requested. I highly recommend staying at this hotel! The only thing that I'd say was that if we didn't have a taxi drive us to the hotel, we might have missed finding it. It's sort of hidden in plain sight. Otherwise, I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel!

Hallway auto off lights went off way, way too fast.

Good location, walkable to Train station. Breakfast was good but a little pricey at €25 per person. Close to eateries. The chambermaid service is advertised to be available to 3pm - it finishes before lunch. The air conditioning was variable.

It was super clean, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. It’s A/C system works great specially for the warm weather during summer months. Wi-Fi connection wasn’t great so I had to connect to my mobile data.

The mattress was way too hard. The bed felt like we were sleeping on the floor.

Spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff - they could not do enough for me - including a small packed breakfast when I checked out at 04.00hrs in the morning.

Air conditioners are managed by office not the individual rooms which was a little weird
