Hotel New Natraj

The staff are lovley and friendly and helped us with everithing. The room was big enough and the shower was good.

Everything about this stay was perfect. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The location is ideal for exploring Trincomalee, and the facilities provided everything we needed for a comfortable 2-night stay. The atmosphere was very welcoming and hassle-free. Absolutely nothing—everything exceeded our expectations!

The room is very clean & bed is comfort to sleep. The owner is really helpful .He shared more travel tips for us to travel around the city. Near to beach & resto. Worth for money. Really enjoyed the stay. This property met my expectations. Suggest to add hot water facility for bath. happy with the stay.

I have stayed at a dozen hotels in uppuweli alasgarden beach road trincomalee srilanka. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The friendly and helpful staff were there for every need of mine. Thank you so much. Nothing to be complaint about it totaly worth it

I had such a wonderful stay here. I originally planned to stay for 3 nights but ended up extending for another night — and I will definitely stay here again when I return to Trincomalee. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and even with just the fan on, it felt cold and refreshing. The water pressure was strong, which I really appreciated after long days out. I was also super satisfied with the lighting — the room was really bright, which I loved, especially compared to other places I’ve stayed at. The location is fantastic — just a 2-minute walk to the beach, which is the perfect spot to chill, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. On top of that, I had the best massage at the spa upstairs! What truly made my stay memorable was the amazing staff. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, always making sure I was comfortable. They often offered me free tea, and I even got a free dinner on my last night! Sura, the owner, was super friendly — I never felt alone because he would always take the time to chat and share great recommendations. I especially loved the sunset spot he told me about! I can’t wait to come back, not just to visit Trincomalee again, but because of the wonderful experience I had here. Highly recommend!

Fabulous location, extremely helpful hosts, really clean rooms. When we stayed we were the only guests, over the new year, but they were getting ready for the upcoming season. Nothing was too much trouble, and although there wasn't a kettle or fridge, they were happy to make me a cup of tea when I wanted one. They have big plans and I think that with their determination and talent they will have one of the best accommodation places in the area... All good

Location close to beach. Booking it says it got free Wifi, but when I go they refuse to give WIFI password. Booking.com should be responsible for promising incorrect facilities to guests. I wouldn't have book this place if I don't get Wifi. Dissapointed.

Close to the beach, cheap Dirty, outdated and plenty of cockroaches.

The location was very good for tourist area of Uppuveli. Very close to the beach and fernandos bar. Very cheap price for area and location. The property was a bit dated and not particularly clean. But for the price can be expected. What I didn’t like is the receptionist lied to us and said buses were not running (on a Sunday) to try and get us to take a tuk tuk that they owned. After 5 minutes of waiting a bus arrived…

Exceptional

Good location. The beach is only 100 meters away, there are cafes, restaurants and scooter rentals nearby, large rooms, convenient way. Very surprised by the hotel staff. They helped me in a difficult situation and did not take money for it. The bed was too small for a height of 180 cm. There was no breakfast (but there are several restaurants within 10-30 meters where they have breakfast).

Disappointing

Really close to the beach. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone.
