Parallel villa

. Terrible experience – do not stay here! Our stay was absolutely awful. The room was full of mosquitoes, extremely noisy from the street, and we found dirty sheets and even cockroaches. The water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent, and the water was ice cold. On top of that, there was a horrible smell everywhere, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. The owner greeted us wearing only underwear, which was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. The electrical outlets didn’t match standard plugs for the country, the TV shown in the photos wasn’t even connected, and the pool looked so dirty we wouldn’t dare go near it. To make matters worse, the owner tried to charge us more than the price listed on Booking.com. We had booked two nights, but because of the terrible conditions we wanted to leave early. Although it’s his right to charge for both nights, he also demanded an even higher amount than advertised – and if we hadn’t double-checked, he would have overcharged us even more. This place is dishonest, dirty, and completely misrepresented online. Stay far away!

A clam place. Toiletries were not provided. Only one or two car(s) can be parked. Never picked up the phone number given by the booking.com Therefore could not contact till reaching the place.

Good sized room and very clean. Our host was lovely and friendly and gave us a breakfast of coffee, toast, sausages and eggs. Lots of little shops and cafes around the location and about 10 mins walk to beautiful, deserted beaches. The only improvement I can suggest is regarding the wifi. In the common lounge upstairs I got a very slight wifi signal but none in the room. We need wifi as we travel so we can book onward accommodation, so this was a little frustrating. Everything else was top notch and I recommend this place.

Room was clean, breakfast ok and the beds where comfy. If no one is there, call the second number on the sign. The pool was not so clean. It was off season, so that could have been the problem.

When I went to their tribe, I did not see anyone there. If I contacted them on the phone, they did not answer the phone. When I saw the girls were hot I knew that there was a possibility of prostitution in that place so I looked for one more hotel and went to the booking if you are coming see if it is good you see otherwise they will spoil your money and your belongings.

Aircon in communal room is a great idea. Makes hanging out as a large family easier and comfortable. The rooms were lovely and clean. The pool was great and had a cooling jacuzzi area. Very close to the beach which is a short walk away. The road down to it, you meet lovely Sri lankan families all happy to meet you. The people were lovely and very friendly. Keen to party with you, will bring loud music if you say yes to a party. It is close to a super market and a walk to local restaurants.There is a communal fridge for any food or drinks you want to keep cold. Just be wary others are staying there, maybe bag it seperate. We rented motorbikes which helped us get around easily. There were ten of us and were able to accommodate us all greatly.

-Friendly staff - tried their very best to make us comfortable, during these very difficult times in Sri Lanka especially during power cuts. -The bedrooms and washrooms were clean -The living room was clean with a comfortable sofa -The AC worked well -Nice large television -The staff at the villa offered homemade food, we particularly enjoyed the devilled chicken which was delicious, however we weren't a big fan of the kotthu and pasta dishes but we appreciated the effort. -There were a few mosquitos that got into the rooms at night through bathroom vents and the front door -The owner of the villa was staying upstairs with his family and therefore was using the kitchen space which hindered our privacy a little bit -The TV was a bit difficult to use so we had to ask the owner for help a few times, would appreciate some instructions on how to use it -Would appreciate if the bed linen would cover the whole bed -The pool was a lovely size but it was a pity that the water was a little dirty

The pool and Jacuzzi is amazing for a guesthouse! Small garden, very confortable to take breakfast or take good time. The staff, especially Thinus, help for many things and good chef! You can choose, sri lankan or western food. We had to pay for botteled water

The staff were absolutely amazing they go above and beyond to make your trip absolutely perfect they are so welcoming and kind I would 100% recommend to anyone travelling to Sri Lanka to stay here!! The food is some of the best I’ve had and the facilities are beautiful with a fab pool and palm trees they even cut fresh coconuts for you in the mornings and are constantly on hand for anything you need it really has made our trip Thankyou for being so kind to us and helping us with some great tourist spots to!! Everyone must stay here
