Great location and friendly staff. Have seen this place many times but this was the first time I stayed there. Even though it was a short stay, the staff made sure we were all well taken care of.

Very sweet property and close to all the major attraction. You can walk to the places from here. Also, very close to local market. Great breakfast and welcoming owners. No complaints at all, best in Trincomalee.

We travelled from Kandy to Trincomalee and it was a few minutes minute past the check in time. The staff was very attentive and directed us to the room right away after inquiring about the lunch. They bought us lunch though we must be make our own arrangements since they provide only breakfast. They offered to bring both lunch and dinner during the days we stayed but brought them on the way back to the inn to save them from the trouble.

- Perfectly located, well managed, comfortable guesthouse with very easy walking access to central bus stand, all local amenities, good cheap local restaurants and Dutch Bay Beach. - Well appointed, meticulously clean, quiet room (# 5) with efficient quiet AC, fan, TV and complimentary bottled water. - Mathusan from front desk work is very accommodating and works very hard to ensure your stay is comfortable. He always goes above and beyond to help and deliver a meticulous service. - Mathusan also prepares THE most delicious, substantial and varied Sri Lankan breakfasts imaginable. I stayed four nights and every morning I sampled something different and equally delectable. Thank you! - Laundry service is available. - Book ahead to avoid disappointment. - My room (which was perfect) was off a small outdoor terrace at the back of main building. Once or twice I smelt cigarette smoke from someone smoking outside their room on the terrace. - A tip: Nothing to do with this fabulous guesthouse but ensure you eat locally in Trincomalee NOT Uppuveli where you’ll be charged exorbitant tourist prices (3-4 times as much!) for average food and tiny portions in ‘tourist’ restaurants.

Nice and friendly staff , was able to get breakfast and very helpful with the transport to airport too. I think there was no blankets provided, TV wasn't working no plug point closer to bed. Was pretty noisy on certain days when there is more people. Also they said they do dry cleaning at the property but they used washing machine and the clothes were torn as the result. Pretty disappointed.

Location was perfect, dead center of town. 200mt form bus stand. Surprised we were the only guests. All good.

A great value for money find in central Trinco. We didn't want to be right at the beach so enjoyed being in the middle of town, short tuk tuks away from the Koneschwarma temple, walkable to the Kali Amman temple and markets and very easy to get a tuk tuk to the beach. The room was comfortable, shower hot, air con good, staff friendly and helpful, we could also do laundry for a small fee. Breakfast was also provided and we got to chat with other travellers. A great stay!

Clean and pleasant property in the heart of Trincomalee. Good aircon, decent sized bathroom. A little haven in a noisy and quite dirty town. Good breakfast available. All good.

We came to Trincomalee to visit the temples and for site seeing. Bon Voyage is conveniently located and met all our needs. Staff were very helpful & courteous.

I spent a really good week here in Trincomalee thanks to the comfortable stay I had at the Bon Voyaage. Prior to my arrival, I had requested an early check-in at 6am in the morning as I took the overnight train from Colombo to Trincomalee (the Inn is only ~15 mins walk from the train station), they were more than happy to accommodate and provided me with breakfast! Breakfast was all inclusive with the stay, and every morning I was greeted by Mathushan, who went above and beyond to ensure I got to try all variations of Sri Lankan breakfasts throughout the week, which made me very happy and my belly even happier! I got to enjoy idly, thosai, hoppers (appam), string hoppers, parota with sambar and various chutney. Moreover, I’m checking out late due to my evening train back to Colombo, and they were so kind to let me do so without any extra charges whatsoever. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you! Other guests can be loud sometimes, but that is not the fault of the hotel staff.

The location of the property is central to all the shops, restaurants, beach and some of the temples. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was any trouble. The room was basic but extremely clean with a communal seating area. There was a great choice of breakfast which was cooked fresh. Madhusha and Navkumar were helpful during our stay and have a wealth of local knowledge. Nothing.

Spotlessly clean, very friendly staff, close to the market, temples and shops. Nothing.

Very clean and simple room, good fan and air conditioning, very comfortable bed. The guesthouse has a lovely little garden around it. We had breakfast too, and our hosts were warm, kind and friendly. The shower worked fine but might be good to update to make even better.
