Comfortable stay next to the beach. The seaview rooms are worth it for the sunrises and sunsets. Easy to go for a swim or stroll at the beach

Nice location and clean room. It's a very calm area but still close to bars and the commercial area (either a nice walk on the beach or a short tuk tuk ride). Majid was super helpful and nice! The TV kept muting itself, so we gave up on it. Internet would stop working sometimes (like at every place we stayed at), but after a few minutes of letting Majid know, it would work again.

Perfect location, clean premises and room plus very helpful and kind staff. Would definitely recommend and beach view is worth it. Everything in good condition and functional, having a terrace is an amazing plus. Good value for money!

I have visited Trincomalee many times and I was very impressed and happy with the care and helpfulness of the staff team. Everybody. Special mentions for the manager who let me have a very late check out. Also Kumar, the hotel tuk tuk driver, who was amazing. I highly recommend Liyonaa.

Our deluxe double room at Liyonaa Beach Hotel offered a remarkably clean and comfortable environment, extending to the notably spacious bathroom. The private balcony was a true highlight, providing stunning beachfront views, and the sunrise from our room was simply captivating. We appreciated the provision of fresh linens and towels, along with the convenience of effective AC, a TV, and a kettle with coffee provisions. The bathroom featured a good hot shower. The staff were consistently friendly and responsive to all our needs. Overall, the hotel represents excellent value for money. While the room was well-maintained, it lacked a sense of spaciousness. A minor drawback was the visible corrosion on the stainless steel bathroom fixtures, including the taps and shower.

Very clean resort right on the beach. Our room was rather small, but it had a balcony overlooking the beach and a wonderful view of the sea. The staff was attentive and helpful.

Big room that has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Nice view of the beach and you can hear the waves :) A bit overpriced for what was offered, compared to other hotels we've been to in the area. Breakfast is not included and pretty expensive, too.

The room and bathroom was very clean. The room was spacious for family of 4. Friendly staff.

Good value, comfortable and location good but not the cleanest beach and food tasty but very slow in arriving.

Great location conveniently located between trincomalee and uppaveli. The view from the room is stunning from the balcony. Good value for money. The staff is very kind and very helpful. Full of excellent tips for local restaurants. They helped us book a trip to pigeon an island which was great as well. Keep in mind The beach next door is not pleasant since there is so much trash. This is not the fault of Liyonaa, which is spotlessly clean. But hotels in the area really should get together to clean. We went out to pick up some trash one of the days but there is so much we barely made a dent. Also be very careful where you dry your clothes, the towels and my white clothes were stained by the rusty towel bar.

Excellent service offered. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. I rebooked the place for extra stay and there were no issues with checking-in. The room was well decorated for my mom’s birthday. I have given an elaborate review for the same hotel with extended stay. Very clean room , spacious and had a great view from the balcony. Nothing significant to consider

The staffs were helpful and friendly. They made sure the room was decorated for my Mom’s Birthday. They did help with changing the room as my parents had back issue and couldn’t climb the stairs. They were very helpful as my parents were quite old. I really appreciate their help and support during the stay. Although I wasn’t there in person , they were easily accessible and there were no barriers for communication. My Moms birthday was a fulfilment. Overall experience was extremely good. Rooms were clean , spacious with good view as well. Nothing comes to mind apart from the access via stairs which is indeed reasonable and suitable for youngsters.
