- Location is the main thing - its quite near to Thampanoor bus stand and TVM Central railway station. - The place was very clean - I think it was recently renovated, but our room was very very clean. - Amenities were sufficient. - Staff were very friendly. - Wifi was decent - Food was nice - we ordered separately as well as had the complimentary breakfast - all were very good and not too costly. - There was a small hiccup in the breakfast list. Our package originally included complimentary breakfast - but somehow in the list, it was mentioned as non-complimentary. The reception staff were quick enough to verify and correct their mistake - I appreciate that, but they could be a bit more careful to avoid such hiccups i the future.

The Wi-Fi password need to be renewed everyday which was a hassle. The lighting outside of corridor was used censored and this was seems not safety, it was fully dark when no one in the corridor.

Lovely exterior and a good bed The room felt a little too closed off. This meant it kept the moisture in too much when you showered and the room felt damp too often. Staff were mostly nice, but it would have been nice to have more hospitable staff.

Immaculately clean and well organized. Great experience overall, with attentive staff and prompt communication that made everything smooth and easy. I asked if breakfast could be added, but the request was declined. Although the restaurant appears to be part of the hotel, I ended up having breakfast separately. The prices were reasonable; however, the dosa unfortunately did not meet my expectations—it was soggy and lacked flavor.

The guys in reception tried their best despite managers and kitchen staf I booked Hotel Regency Grande based on the photos on Booking.com, especially the reception lobby. What I walked into bore almost no resemblance to what was advertised. The reception area is tiny, cramped, and frankly misleading. It felt like looking at a beautifully illustrated coffee mug and being told it’s the Taj Mahal. At check-in, we were handed a completely new set of “house rules” to sign, none of which were mentioned on Booking.com. These rules appeared out of thin air, as if the terms of stay were being negotiated after arrival. That alone should be a red flag. Food restrictions were borderline absurd. Outside food is not allowed even when the hotel restaurant is closed, which happens after 10 pm. We bought some mangoes and politely asked for a plate. We were told outside food is not permitted. Mangoes. No delivery. No flexibility. The tone made us feel like we were trying to smuggle contraband, not eat fruit. The bathroom floors were in poor condition, and housekeeping was minimal. Towels were not changed, and basic upkeep seemed optional rather than standard. For a hotel charging these prices, the lack of hygiene and service is unacceptable. This is an exorbitantly priced hotel offering budget-level hospitality with authoritarian rules and misleading visuals. If honesty mattered, the photos would be updated and the rules disclosed upfront. Until then, book only if you enjoy being overcharged while treated like a suspect. I would not return, and I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Simple and clean Need to be more spacious especially reception & lift

Everything...Location, staff and service. Reception and coffee shop staff was very attentive and friendly. Rooms are clean and tidy with all new amenities. Staff are very helpful on both shifts including the girl who works on part time basis. Noise from the corridor to be addressed. Since I am hotelier and stayed for more than 5 days in the property, I expect a call or meet from Hotel Manager or Operations manger to check on my stay. May be this is the way they works....

Friendly Staff, Very clean - room, washroom, restaurant, everything was neat, clean and very orderly. Check-in was super smooth, staff was courteous and everything was quite pleasant. Special shoutout to the security personnel who were super professional and super helpful with parking. Breakfast was good with fairly ellaborate menu. Only one thing which i noted was - room was a bit small for my preference. Its not the room's fault, i might have been expecting something bigger, maybe with a working table. The space where i could place my laptop was a bit cramped. But of course, it depends on who is staying.

We did not have breakfast. Location was convenient being close to bus station and Railway station. We would have preferred a harder bed.
