Recently built hotel so everything is new and it was clean. My room had a living room with a desk, two bathrooms and a bedroom. I don't know why they provide rooms with one bedroom and two bathrooms - but ok... The hotel is within walking distance of the railway station (unless you have a lot of luggage) and 200 meters off the main street so its very near the commercial district. They have laundry services. Breakfast was Indian but they also offered bread, fruit and coffee if you want something lighter. At US$50 per night it is great value for money. Overall I would highly recommend Hotel Thamburu International if you are visiting Trivandrum. When I was visiting, in early Nov 2024, the 200 meter road was being paved so it was a bit of gravel and a bit of mud but one assumes that the road work is finished by now...

Not far from train station. Opposite new BJP state building. Enough security on site There was no hot water on both days. Spoke to reception, but there was no initial apology. No compensation offered. Reception had no AC until requested to turn on. Road to the hotel from main road was horrible.

The hotel is just a stones throw away from the Trivandrum Central Railway station. However no restaurant in the hotel. But plenty of superb eating places within 300 meters.
