Excellent landscaping and awesome soaking pool. Food is good but priced a little too high Restrooms are not in the rooms by design of aged property. Just an inconvenience

It was awesome.

I was pretty disappointed with much of the staff. Many were unhelpful and a some were outright rude, especially at check in. The grounds were lovely and the food was good. The rooms could be so much cleaner and more comfortable.

This is the best place to stay, especially if you are visiting the Columbia Gorge. Has it all. Only shared bathrooms, a few rooms with private.

The ghosts kept us awake all night, both nights...

We loved our stay at McMeniman’s Edgefield! The property is beautiful and the Lodge is funky and cool. There were lots of places to have drink, read, grab a bite or just walk around. It didn’t seem too crowded. Our room was clean and nice and the bed was comfortable. Even though we had a room with a shared bathroom it wasn’t a problem. The bathrooms in the Ladies Lounge were very private and you are provided with a nice Terry robe to wear around. The soaking pool was in a wonderful grotto and I would have spent more time there if it wasn’t so hot and Smokey out. We will definitely be back. Maybe to see a concert in their wonderful amphitheater!!!!

Love this history, art, outside spaces, soaking pools and every staff member was very friendly and accommodating. The cocktails and food were both really good too. Although, my fiance wasn't a huge fan of the burger he got, he loved those Cajun tots! The rooms don't have AC so that can be challenging during hot months especially if you don't have a window that can be opened. They do provide a box fan but it gets stuffy.

102 degrees and no AC. Construction workers right outside my window and windows do not have screens.

They made me get out of the pool twice because of the rain—even though it never actually rained—and it was before 11:00 PM. I go there for the pool; I pay for my room to have access to it.

Mcmenamins is the best but it was 95 and thunderstorms. Restaurant black rabbit great! Uncontrollable weather!! Lol
