Gardner Farm Inn

John was a fantastic host and my wife and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. The entire space is eclectic and has a great charm. John is so kind and a true gem of a human being. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower was AMAZING. Breakfast was amazing as was the company that we had. We might just look for an excuse to go back to Troy just so we can stay again. This place has a true rural that you don’t typically find in a larger city.

A true gem of a spot, with everything I needed in my room and very responsive and helpful host. Quiet for sleeping, great mattress and cushy towels!

Exceptional

John the owner was a terrific host, and prepared delicious home-made breakfasts. The 'Jean Harlow' room where we stayed was spotless, delightfully decorated, and very comfortable. Had a little trouble finding the correct entrance upon arrival at the house, but that was resolved quickly. Beautiful historic home is conveniently located both for downtown Troy and also for RPI campus and other sites up on the hill. 'Angus' the dog was also very friendly! Would stay here again, and would whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone!

Gardner Farm Inn is a great place to stay. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was delicious.

Fantastic host. We got there very late due to leaving Boston late but they couldn't have been more welcoming . Nothing was a drama. Great cooked bfast and asked us what we are ok with. Made to feel right at home. Lovely building with clean and well furnished room. We will be back. Nothing to mention here. Everything was great.

John is a great host. And I especially loved the fun decor. Also his recommendation for dinner, though funky and not top drawer looking had great people and the best and freshest food. We loved the place. Glad to have met you and stayed at your home. Roz zeisler

This is the most beautiful Inn. I felt like I was in an art exhibit. John was very welcoming and breakfast was delicious.

The house was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, and John was a kind and gracious host. It was like staying with an old friend. Highly recommend.

John and his beautiful B&B were wonderful. So welcoming. Unfortunately, we had to leave early in the morning as I was battling a virus, and John was totally understanding and accommodating. Highly recommend.

The Gardner Inn is very comfortable. We stayed in the John Waters quest room which was attractive with a touch of camp (as it should be). We slept beautifully. Breakfast and coffee were bot delicious. We especially enjoyed our conversation with the other guests and with innkeeper, John. Thank you for a great stay.
