Beautiful villas, amazing food, and one of the friendliest hotel teams I’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and every detail makes you feel relaxed from the moment you arrive. They even surprised us with a candlelit room, and we were lucky enough to enjoy live music during dinner. Those little touches made the experience even more memorable. Nothing at all. I just wish I had stayed longer.

I love the tranquil atmosphere from the moment I arrived at the property. I slept very well during my stay and enjoys the spa experience. I have no complaints to mention.

I loved the pool, and the interior design has such a beautiful jungle vibe. It feels lush, cozy, and totally immersive Unfortunately, there were several issues. The seating areas in the restaurant and at the bar were not cozy, and the tables and chairs were often dirty and sticky. The glasses were not clean. There were cockroaches in our room. The backyard seating furniture was very dirty and uncomfortable, and the hammock was not usable. The receptionist was also very rude upon arrival. In addition, the menu was very limited, the food was poor quality and overpriced, and the alcohol seemed diluted

Very relaxing. Everything was fine, but the restaurant and bar prices are exorbitant compared to what you can get outside the hotel; also, the pool can't be used at this time of year (November) because the water is quite cold and there's no heater in either the main pool or the rooms.

Everything was perfect !

We loved how secluded and tropical the property was, even though it is relatively close to Tulum Centro! The rooms were beautiful, and our private plunge pool was heated, so we ended up relaxing in it most nights. It's not their fault but the mosquitoes are brutal when it's hot and humid! Made it difficult to enjoy most of the outdoor spaces like the bar and restaurant. We also wished we had a little more space to unpack without making the room a mess, but it wasn't a big deal.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful The location is not great for the value of the property; mosquitoes are the problem; the hotel would offer a complimentary repellent, as other places we visited did.The hotel has only one small restaurant, and the quality and prices are not the best. There are no good restaurants nearby, and it’s not within walking distance of downtown as described. When we ordered a glass of wine, the first one was served in a large glass filled halfway, but the second was served in a smaller glass that wasn’t even half full — for the same price. The same happened with the food: the portions were smaller when we ordered the second time. Also, the private pool in our room wasn’t specified as being unheated — that was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Unfortunately, the water was too cold, so we couldn’t even enjoy the floating breakfast. The best part was the staff. They were very friendly and attentive.

Great holistic resort. Nice and private. Highly recommend it.

They sometimes shut the water in the rooms so you can't shower or even wash your face, and it could be at random times of the day. Second of all, the main pool, the big one, wasn't really clean. It had a lot of stuff coming down from the plants surrounding it, and they didn't really clean it. And the third thing was, it was a bit far from the city center and from the Zona Hotelera, so it's better to have a car with you

Clean, beautiful and exactly what the pics look like. Not very close to the beach but the hotel is perfect! Enjoyed the activities too. The staff is sweet and always looking to help out with requests. Mara and Alejandro were outstanding! Thank you for a great time. Nothing

I love how secluded everything was . Also it was so private and relaxing . I loved it !! I would definitely return !! I didn’t have any problem with the property.

The property is perfect ! Amazing for a relaxing stay. The access to the property is a little bumpy and dark for the roads but is worth it.

The property was beautiful - every detail was thought through, from the landscaping to the design of the pool to the gorgeous set up of the rooms themselves. While we ventured out for most meals, the on-site food was tasty and the fact that room service was only a WhatsApp message away made everything super easy.

We loved our stay at Hotel Bardo! The entire property is beautiful and so serene. The staff is so kind and caring and took excellent care of us. We barely felt the need to leave the property and spent most of our trip enjoying the awesome food and drinks by the pool. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to go back.

We LOVED this place and will be coming back! The fact that it is tucked back in the jungle and each suite was so secluded from all the others, we felt like we had the place to ourselves! The staff was over-the-top helpful and offered great recommendations! We loved the room and that the shower was outdoors :) The plunge pool was a great add and we felt 100% safe here. I practiced yoga in the shala and they offered a lot of classes and had excellent food/drinks at the restaurant. We rented a scooter for 2 days and had a blast exploring the city and cenotes this way. We also spent an entire day at the sister hotel, Milam, which was OUT OF THIS WORLD and free for Hotel Bardo guestss!! We booked a massage there and had the whole place to ourselves!! It was incredible!!!! The one complaint I have about this place was that there wasn't coffee in the room. Although room service was available and quick to respond, we had to pay for every (tiny) french press we ordered. I think it was $6 USD for one small french press (equliant to 2 cups of coffee) and we ordered at least 3 each morning.

Service is amazing and place is beautiful. Kudos to Alexia for the Alchemist Breathing session!

A calm heaven in the busy tulum scene. The property itself is beautiful with impeccable taste and attention to details. Surrounded by greenery, butterflies and birds but what made this stay the best is the attentive staff. I travel a lot but Bardo’s staff were uniquely accommodating and attentive, super kind and helped us with everything Nothing
