The suite was very spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped. Also, I enjoyed sitting on my private terrace. Usually, the place was quiet. I went there for a relaxing rest and recovery from the lingering effects of COVID, so I didn't have much of an agenda and enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood. The small supermarket near the hotel was a plus. There was only a harsh ceiling light in the bedroom. I requested a bedside lamp, but they were unable to provide one. Also, although there were four place settings in the kitchen, there was no large salad bowl, which would be convenient. The location is far from any of the local attractions, so it was difficult to get transportation because tour companies didn't want to drive all the way to Tulum. I'd booked airport transportation but the driver for the return trip never showed up and I had to take a very expensive taxi to the airport in Cancun. The taxi driver told me that this is not uncommon.

Nice staff , comfortable rooms, beautiful atmosphere

Location Nice people working there but the hotel is not what we expected. The extreme smell of mildew made it unbearable to breath, sleep and by the end of the trip our cloths in the closets smelled like mildew as well. Not enough hot water and low water pressure in shower and sink. No elevator. Pools are not really pools, being so small you would think they will heat them. One pool is at the lobby and shaded at all time, looks more like water fountain. I can’t imagine anybody ever going in there since it’s awkward location in the entrance lobby/walkway/breakfast area. The rooftop pool is by a bar that s not open for service even at lunch time. We asked to leave and get a refund. Booking.com did approve initially but the hotel didn’t approve. They offered to move us to another room after few nights so we moved only because we couldn’t leave and get a refund. Room was bigger and more sunnier but the mildew smell and water issue was there as well. We stayed there for 9 nights! I think the hotel should have let us go and give us a refund knowing we were not happy for so many nights.

This is an average hotel. The staff are not customer focused. The water and towels in our room were not replaced after our room was serviced. We arrived after midnight and had to go looking for towels at that time of the night. Fortunately, there was a kind gentleman who hunted down fresh towels. The breakfast that was included in the room charge was below average. The rooftop bar ran out of ingredients for items on the menu as well as normal soft drinks advertised. It is admirable that young people are employed, but they are not trained properly to deal with international guests.

The hotel location was in an area with no street lights at night, no Internet access outside, unfinished pavements, unpaved roads, therefore it felt unsafe to go out in the dark, and could not find our way back as Google map didn't't work without Internet

We really liked the hotel, good location for us although not by the beach or downtown Tulum. We walked to the beach everyday but that takes around 1hr. Nice rooftop bar. Breakfast was nice. Nothing

Room was clean. The housekeeping did a very good job each day. She even made a beaitiful swan set up with towel and decor in the bed for our honemyoon. The bed was very comfy. The room was nice and spacious and had lots of wardrobe space for hanging and storing belonging and clothes. The shower room was very modern and spacious and I really liked the shower space. The staff were helpful and friendly and accommodated us with any questions or requests we had. Pretty good value for money. The hotel location was a nice location but it was surrounded by areas that felt quite unsafe. You had to walk through areas to the busier bits of town where it didn't feel the safest where people lived and seemed pretty poor. We got chased by a couple of dogs at night growling at us so I wouldn't recommend walking through the town to the hotel at night I thought the pools looked bigger on the photos and we would have like seating out on our terrace so we could sit outside our room. The water temperature in the shower got quite cool quite quickly so didn't stay hot for long.

Very clean, staff are very helpful and friendly. Lots of advice on where to visit and how to get around. It is slightly removed being neither in the hotel zone or the town centre but it worked well for us. Being slightly removed meant we did have to walk/cycle/taxi everywhere. Not a huge issue for us but for people with limited mobility this would be challenging. Bicycles to rent from the hotel are $300 mex a day so around £15, not a huge expense but you can rent cheaper and better bikes if you shop around a bit. Taxis are really expensive and there are no street lights so walking after dark can be difficult which I would have liked to know before staying.

No complaints at all with this hotel, everything was as to be expected!

The place felt like paradise! With extremely comfortable beds, excellent facilities and lovely staff we could’ve stayed for weeks! The breakfast became very samey and the portions were small.

Very nice hotel, clean, beautiful rooftop bar and good breakfast It is quite far to walk to the center and you pass rather a poor neighborhood. Nothing that bothered us, but worth to keep in mind.

The staff at KASA Kuyen are world class. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate their kindness and all of their help. They made me feel like I was amongst family and that Kasa Kuyen was my home. I loved the experience and people so much that I cried when I left. That has never happened to me before. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it! You will be so glad that you did. N/A

Exceptional

Amazing hotel that offers apartments instead of rooms. The rooms are very clean and the staff is amazing and helpful. Can't fault it!
