Asterina Hotel

Location is fine, right by the beach Room is super small, bathrooms not very neat showers are extremely small no proper amenities. Bedsheets not very clean. Not worth the value of money definitely not staying here again. Service is bad asked the front desk guy for a blanket he said its summer why are you using blankets.

Bed needs to be better

The blinking light on the ceiling is super annoying, they should try to find a way to put a tape or something, because it really interrupts the sleep.

Our room was very small, and the balcony looked out across a small courtyard directly at a wall. I’m sure the rooms in the front with balconies are lovely. The courtyard would be very pleasant if it were planted with some nice plants, some quiet music and maybe some art on the wall. But otherwise, it was uninspiring as compared to some of the other properties we visited

Friendly staff, though they have trouble with English. Convenient location Food leaves much to be desired. Shower kept leaking into the bathroom. We asked management to come fix, but it continued to leak

The location The rooms too small you can hardly walk ! Or the space for luggage or for you but both impossible ! Booking tells you that the hotel has parking but it’s a public parking they should specify that better . I book several hotels because they say that they had parking but when you get there you have to fine a place to park your car . Sometimes is almost impossible and the hotel doesn’t help you!

Very good location, very friendly staff, breakfast was basic, but fresh and enough. Rooms are modern with new furniture. The hotel provides towels for the beach. There is room for improvement regarding cleaning- there was mold in the shower and the bathroom door had stains, elevator was quite dirty also. Otherwise, daily cleaning and change of towels was much appreciated.

Very nice manager. The minute we walked in he was helping us with anything we needed. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a small boutique feeling with nice modern decor. The location is far away from Bodrum life and activities. The neighborhood is more for locals and has a rustic feeling. The bathrooms need maintenance, specially the showers that have mold.

Asterina is a family run, small hotel in Turgutreis. The hotel itself is basic but incredibly charming. Our room was quite small, but the balcony was spacious and the A/C worked so well (and quietly) that I ended up requesting an additional blanket!. The bathroom was good (the shower a bit small) with deliciously hot water. The room and bathroom are really clean. There is a kettle in the room and tea and Nescafe, as well as two bottles of water are replenished every day. The breakfast is simple and delicious! It is exactly the same every day, always a boiled egg, two slices of cheese, a fresh tomato, cucumber slices, olives, honey, two jams and a (very) small cube of butter. There is also a full loaf of deliciously fresh bread. Turkish tea is readily available and there is Nescafe instant coffee and milk, plus choco pops and corn flakes for those who prefer cereal. The cheese borecki are a nice local addition to the breakfast. Where Asterina really stands out is in how nice everyone is here! Notably David who is the main person at reception, but also the family members who are in charge of breakfast, who are always friendly and willing to assist. If there is a complaint about Asterina it would be the dismal WiFI. This was our little battle horse the five days we stayed here. David tried to help us out but hard as he might, we would not get any connectivity in our room. So, if you need internet for work or entertainment, better be prepared with unlimited data on your phone because you won’t find enough juice here.

There is no parking. Access street is blocked by a barrier and only pedestrian access is allowed to the hotel. Nearest parking is 5min away. Room is tiny. On the extended sofa a only a small child can sleep. No variety at breakfast (1 egg, 1 spring roll, 3 types of gem)

Amazing breakfast and sea view !!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Bodrum! We originally booked a standard room, but to our surprise, the manager kindly offered us a suite at the same price. It was such a generous gesture and made our experience even more special. The suite was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Perfectly located just off the main prom with great sea views. We were on the top floor with a double balcony Suite. Very spacious with a generous living area with TV, sofa etc and a small kitchenette with hob and mini bar* The bedroom had a double bed, TV, hanging and shelf storage, mirror, safe and mini bar* Off the bedroom was a good sized bathroom with large shower cubicle, WC, sink with mirror and a hairdryer attached to the wall. Breakfast was included in the price and although we didn't have this every day, it was a traditional Turkish breakfast that set you up for the day. All the staff were very friendly ?? Within the room all electrical items would switch off unless you placed a key card (or similar) into the slot by the door. It took us a day or so to realise this and it makes the mini bars a little useless. Once figured out though, it was OK. If you are like us and like to have a drink or time before heading out, Ice is crucial. The hotel did not have an ice machine or anywhere within the room to store or make them either. We could buy ice from the shops but with thr hear and lack of storage it never lasted. The WiFi was very intermittent. We appreciate this was an issue the whole town was experiencing, but it was a little frustrating when trying to communicate with family back home. Sunbeds on the larger balcony would have been nice, but we did manage to use the outdoor furniture cushions to help with the rotisserie tanning. ??

We were generally very satisfied with our stay. Our room was extremely clean and we had no problems with hygiene. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, which made our stay much more enjoyable. Breakfast was adequate and delicious, it gave us a good start to the day.

Amazon location, doorstep of the beach. Lots of markets all around. The breakfast. Same plate of food every morning (cheese/boiled egg/cucumber/tomato/bread). Maybe charge guests couple of dollars extra and add pastries and fresh orange juice to the menu.
