La Terrazza di Arturo

Nice peek-a-boo view of the river and over the trees & plaza. Easy access to downtown & parks by frequent busses. The air conditioner didn’t really work when It got very hot outside, so the room temperature rose to 29 C. It worked when it cooled down considerably outside. To be fair, there was a big heat wave with temperatures around 33.5 C. that day and quite warm at night, too. That’s probably not very common there.

Good location, within walking distance of tourist attractions. Although underneath is a student area, this did not both us tho as the room has double doors and windows to block out any sound. Balcony was a nice touch. Host was amazing, even went out if his way to give us some voltarol for my sister ankle, as she feel on the way to the guest house and hurt herself. Bed was comfortable and extra blankets provided if needed. Room was fresh. Overall would rate this guest house.

The breakfast was really nice.Location is good.Closed to the center of the city. .It was noisy at the night . It has a cafe and is frequented by many students in the evening.

The room is in a wonderful the ‘old style’, apartment house on the river in central Turin. The building and rooms are beautifully updated and amazing classic features. Very comfortable and such a change from ‘cookie cutter’ hotel rooms. The location is super, and the room extra clean. We also can not say enough good things about the host. He is so kind and helpful, with lots of tips. Overall, what a lovely experience. We would have liked a better way to regulate the temperature. It was certainly warm enough, but we like to sleep in cooler conditions.

The host was very pleasant. The room was big and we enjoyed the sun light coming through the appartment. Nice and clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was a croissant and a coffee- I would have preferred a meal that lasted longer in our bodies alternatively a cheaper room charge.

We enjoyed staying here. The apartment was very clean, the host was very kind and courteous. We could have easily reach by foot all places of interest in the old city center.

(1) The owner was cheerful, pleasant to deal with and extremely helpful. (2) The suitcases could stay at the property till the end of the day. (3) The breakfast arrangement was nearby in a pretty café. (1) Not possible to pay with creditcard, only cash or bank transfer. Now it is communicated beforehand, but still not user friendly. (2) We traveled with four people, being arranged for two double beds. Next to one of them was a small crutch on both sides to put small items on for the night. Next to the second bed, there was none. Not a big issue, just a little discomfort.

Lovely apartment and great terrace within easy distance of the centre. Giancarlo was very friendly and informative.

A very nice building. Old fashioned Turin apartment with plenty of space at shared facilities. City center is more over 10-12'. Giovanni is a very friendly and nice guy. Inside apartment's doors needs updating
