Staff was very friendly and solved an issue that was not their fault immediately. Booking.com gives the option for 2 separate beds, but after confirmation, the room with 2 beds was not available. So why give this option. Not the fault of the hotel btw.

It was very hot and humid. Although the room was clean, it had an unpleasant smell. A hotel definitely needs air conditioning for the summer!

The hotel had secure street parking right in front of the entrance, which was convenient. Check-in was easy, and the staff gave a very nice welcome. They mostly spoke Italian but were very helpful and made an effort to assist. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was useful. My room was clean and had a view of the backyard that was actually pretty interesting. The hotel feels a bit outdated overall. I didn’t notice any recent updates or investments – it has that “stuck in time” kind of atmosphere. The plastic flowers used as decoration are everywhere, which doesn’t really add to the coziness (though that’s probably a matter of taste). The biggest downside for me was the mattress – it was clearly worn out and could really use replacing. Unfortunately, I woke up with back pain every morning because of it. For a short stay of one or two nights, it’s okay, but for anything longer, it might get uncomfortable.

Location close to River Pó, clean bed sheets, quiet street Rude and disrespectful reception (a young dark hair man with huge eye glasses, he called me “nobody” and chased me for city tax and bar order bill payment on Sunday before my check-out on Monday as a maniac). A dysfunctional bar, archaic key and house rules, floppy cleaning - cleaners skip your room if you are inside it; the room floor was full of dust the entire 6-day stay, ridiculously small fridge, no kettle, no tea, no breakfast, the reception charged me $4,50 for hot water from the bar whereas a latte macchiato is only €1.50. Sundays are particularly dangerous at reception as the hotel manager is not present and the reception is free to harass guests.

It was a fairly good area, but quite far from the centre The rooms were very basic and outdated. The staff were quite unfriendly and unhelpful. The price was quite high for a very low standard of hotel. The location was about 30 mins walk from the city centre
