It is what it is, a pit stop before boarding the ferry, which was just a few steps away. So a very practical location. The room was clean, the linens fresh. I walked down the side of the docks and found a couple of sweet parks, and a restaurant with decent food, the one next to the ship museum. The whole concept of a hotel without any staff, any service, totally vacant of human interaction is well, weird. Why? There were plenty of guests, all bereft without any amenity. And the room was not cheap enough to overcome that. In addition, I was given a first floor room whose window looked out on the sidewalk right next to it, with enough foot traffic passing by to make it uncomfortable. I kept that shades drawn.

Great location for arriving from Stockholm by ferry and only 50 minute walk to the accommodation across the road. It was very handy for us as We were picked up the next morning by a friend to continue our journey., Would stay here again, definitely. The room was very spacious and clean. Nice bathroom. Had everything we needed. I loved the kitchen area where you can make your own food ? That there is no reception but that wasn't a big problem as all the checking-in details were very clear and no problems coming or going,

Great venue. Good value for the given price. Location just by the train/bus station and ferry arrivals/departures. Spacious and clean room with all needed amenities. A heated floor and a towel warmer were super nice. Not to mention a sauna in the building. I would definitely stay here again

There was no clean cutlery (forks)

Close to Viking Ferry Mold in the shower, low ceiling, window not able to open for fresh air.

Our room felt cold because the window was left open. We didn't find heat in the room and nobody responded to the WhatsApp message we sent. Bed comfort was barely average and the rooms definitely need darker curtains (others mentioned that).

Dinning area with plates kettle, coffee machine and microvawes. Checking in at 3pm, while check out is at 11am. No lobby area/ or possibility of leaving baggage if needed. No restaurents or shops around.we had to take a bus to go to city whenever we needed food. No cooking faicitities in the premises.

Free parking. Clean large open areas for discussions. Playground and toys for the kids. Family rooms really roomy. Easily adjustable heating, enough warmth. Quiet location, minimum traffic outside. Next to the Viking terminal, just over the street. Useable restaurant for evening meal on the opposite side. Morning coffee was not available. The closest cafee in the Viking terminal was well working solution.

The room was clean and tidy and equipped with a small fridge, TV, desk and chairs. The beds were super comfortable. Bathroom was basic but clean - toilet, sink and shower booth, plus face and body towels for two. The common space was in two stories with chairs and tables. There was a coffee machine you could buy specialty coffees for only 1€/cup. The kitchen had a kettle, glasses, cups, plates and cutlery, tea bags and instant coffee. Nice possibility to cook your own meals if you have a longer stay. We only stayed for 1 night as we had a ferry to catch from the Viking Line terminal which is the building next to the hotel. I would highly recommend this place if you're visiting Turku!

The bathroom was not really functional, water stayed long in the bathroom. It didn’t disturb me, just small things.

    Proximity to cruise ship terminal

  • Engine customer Sep 2025

Closeness to transportation required No personal touch, no one to talk if something required. An all electronic communication may be efficient for management but lack of personal contact is NOT a replacement.

Good, well maintained, quiet, self service hotel. It was nice to be able to use the building's kitchen with micro + plates and former dining area. The private parking is actually paid parking, requiring to download some parking app. It should be made clear at booking time of this, as it came as a surprise when I arrived.

The property was clean and well-kept. The beds were comfortable. The proximity to the Viking Line ferry could not have been better. It was across the street. The communication with the office was pretty fast. There was no staff in the building, no reception, no breakfast and no available food. The neighborhood was isolated and dark with no restaurants nearby except the Chinese restaurant one block away which closed at 9 pm. .The lights in the hallways came on with a motion detector but when I first stepped into a hallway it was still dark and a little eerie due to the fact that no one else was around. Finland is a safe country, but for a woman alone, this was uncomfortable. There was a homeless guy sleeping on a bench in front of the hotel. He may have been a traveler waiting for the morning ferry, but for me as a woman entering a dark property alone with no one around, it was very disconcerting (and I’m pretty tough because I lived in NYC for 20 years). I am traveling by bus and train through Europe so to get to the center of Turku where there are restaurants was a 2 mile walk, or you could take the #1 bus (once I learned how). A taxi back from town center cost me 25 euros for 2 miles. I picked the property to be close to the ferry but I realized later I would have been more comfortable staying in town.

Beds are good. The room was very clean. It was quiet there. The curtains were partly hanging on the windows, no hand soap or body wash in the bathroom. First we had to hang up the curtains and then go to the store to buy soap. The parking used to be free, now as expensive as it’s anywhere else by Viking Line harbor.

Simple, to the point and located right next to the Viking Line Ferry Terminal. Easy access by bus into town (10) min. Hotel is a contactless property, don’t expect to interact with anyone working at the property. Keys are code based, check in and check out is contactless. Great location! Quiet! Simple! Clean!

    Nothing!

The room and the bathroom were really spacious and the beds comfy. We slept really well here when attending Rockfest in Turku. It wasn't the most beautiful of the hotels but perfect for a quick one night stay
