Staff was very helpful, and check in was quick. Room was clean and okay. We only stayed one night passing through on our way home. I would recommend.

    Great place to stay overnight

The property was okay on cleanliness most of it was an over powering room spray. The room was clean but the bathroom was a little questionable on how clean it was because we found someone else's pubes behind the door once it was closed, so not sure of staff just missed sweeping it up or what. It was quiet but the elevators definitely need to be looked at. Check in and out was fine and staff was very friendly.

The shelves in the shower had fallen and had been propped up on the side, leaving molded silicone on the walls, the sheets had mascara, hair, and stains on them. Don’t expect to sleep on the first level if close to the front- especially room 102 as it’s located right across from a loud ice machine, heavy foot traffic, and the kitchen staff making lots of noise early morning.

The hotel was close to everything you needed restaurants, shops and bars. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Fair price for a fair quality with a mini fridge in the room. I would visit again. K. Green

    Good

Convenient stay, affordable and nice hotel, would definitely stay here again. We left an item— the staff was so helpful, locating the item, and we picked it up at another time.

Room was decent. Our room was right next to the elevator. It was loud, asked if we could move to another room the first night and was told they were sold out. Asked again the next day and was kind blown off, never got an answer. Housekeeping would knock on our door in the morning but never announced they were housekeeping. The housekeeper on our floor barely understood or spoke English. Breakfast was bare minimum. Coffee, cereal, waffles, toast and juice. It served its purpose.

The hotel is actually pretty decent. But our room wasn’t vacuumed very well and there was a faint musty smell from the ac which isn’t that big of a deal. When we found the dirty towel hanging in the bathroom that sealed it. If they missed that what else did they “miss”.

Property was reasonable kept but the bathroom was horrible had a discussing smell coming from the toilet

    Very good

Some of the staff were nice, but one guy was very brusque and didn't smile or say anything nice. Breakfast was ok. It was very cheap to stay here and I would stay here again although this is a bit run down and has seen better days. I felt reasonably safe on the property.

I booked through Expedia. I opted to pay at the facility. When I arrived from driving 10.5hrs I was told my reservation was cancelled because I did not have a card on while. I explained that I was given the option to pay at booking or at the hotel. The front desk guy who was a touch rude stated when you book you should choose to pay at the time vs at the facility. One , I never had this issues at other hotels , two- then don’t provide the option. He said they tried to contact me however no one. I had 1 email that I received 4 hrs before arriving while I was driving. I asked why didn’t anyone call , he said that there was no phone number available. You need to add a number when you book so I don’t see how that was possible. He had one room left, smoking. I took it granted most the hotels were booked for UA move in. Yes it had an odor but it was a smoking room. It was “clean “ on surface I suppose however there was a huge brown stain on an old dated chair that matched the old dated room. Towels are worn w a black stain on it . I usually stay at La Quinta and lesson learned.

Carpet was dirty....sheets had stains on it. TV went out and staff asking me how to fix because they had no idea how to. Breakfast was not good and not much to choose from.

Hotel is dated and needs renovation. Shower was not great, toilet seat was worn, sheets had stains, curtain had holes in it. Overall poor condition

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

The elevator was broken, and the receptionist was unable to program my key card properly. Every day, I had to go back and forth three times just to finally get access to my third-floor room. Overall, it was a complete disaster. The entire kitchen is a tiny room with only three small tables, which is completely inadequate. I would strongly recommend not staying here.

    Exceptional

Towels were threadbare - literally had large holes in them. 4 nights and had 2 each- towel, hand towel and washcloth. Parking was plentiful. For the money, I guess we got what we paid for.

This has been our go-to place to stay while visiting Tuscaloosa. The staff are welcoming and the rooms are extremely clean.
