Royal Palms Motel

I was on Tybee Island for one night and this was a fun little retro motel! I would definitely stay there again! Short walk to the beach, extremely clean room, helpful staff!

Convenient location, helpful front desk (Becky), room was spacious.

Loved the nostalgia of this motel. The pool in the middle of the parking lot. Parking in front of the door to your room. The room was clean. The bedding and pillows were wonderful. We decided to drive and park to the beach. Breakfast right down the street. All of the shopping nearby. The bathroom sink even appeared to be original. It was small, but it went along with the vintage theme. Loved it all. Definitely would stay again. Tybee island is worth the trip. No negatives.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Location was great right across the street from the beach and close to all amenities. Pool was well maintained and clean. Great stay will definitely stay there again.

Very much Nothing it was perfect

Cynthia was kind and checked us in around 7pm. Check in and out is a fast and smooth process. We LOVED this charming and colorful motel and will definitely stay here again in the future. Close to everything on Tybee Island but still quiet. The Pool was clean ane the rooms were clean. Pool stayed open until 10pm, which was nice to have a night time dip. Our room had a little coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. OBSSESSED with the decor and vibes! Love it!

It was so peaceful and comfortable! Comfy beds! A little bit of a tight fit but everything else over rode the right fit.

The rooms are very small. We had a single full size bedroom. Ac blew snowballs, which was great. Room was clean, plenty of shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc. Fridge & microwave worked properly. Surrounding guest were friendly, no interaction with staff, but no complaints. Short walk to beach, maybe 10 mins. Overall great stay, on-site pool as well.

The staff was so attentive and the rooms were clean and just what we needed. We really enjoyed our stay!

Was shocked to see no one at office when came to check in at 6:30 pm nor there when leaft to check out at 9:00 am...had to call and leave a VM to where received a text for does. VERY dated property.

The location was great, the lady in the office was the best, she made are stay even more enjoyable, very helpful and kind. Our room was clean and comfortable, the pool was wonderful after a day on the beach.

Besides no hot water in the shower, everything else was well appointed and clean.

Rooms were clean with good AC and close to the beach which is what we wanted. Beds were fairly comfy and everything seemed like what you’d expect for a near the beach hotel.

My mom, my kids, and I stayed here for four night last week (7/18-7/22) and we would 100% stay again. The hotel is in a central location, with a small walk and easy access to the beach. The staff was great, welcoming, and very informative about how to navigate the island and not get ran over. Our room was a deluxe suite, it was perfect for the four of us. It was clean and well maintained! The only thing negative is the air conditioning units need to be updated, I did have to buy myself a box fan. The pool was great and kids enjoyed that more than the beach I think. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to visit again!

Great little hotel!! Close to restaurants and the beach.

This hotel was nice. The rooms were clean and the swimming pool was ok. The location was ok also.my husband and I would stay again.
