Sandcastle Inn

I will start with the not so good. Our hotel room door # 201 was extremely hard to open and was literally coming apart. The shower had long blonde hair stuck to the wall. The entire floor was so dirty we had to wash our feet before climbing into bed or putting on shoes even after a shower. Housekeeping replaced our towels but literally touched nothing else when stopping by after the first night. The light over the sink made it difficult to see to apply makeup. The positives. The location is fantastic with an easy walk to the beach! The parking is free. The staff were friendly. The bed was pretty comfortable. The water was hot. The AC was cold. I probably would not stay here again due to the condition of the room, but if you are a family on a budget looking for a short walk to the beach and a pool to enjoy, this may work for you.

Convenient to everything. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. Bathroom is very cramped and needs some work and beds were not the most comfortable, but for the price and convenience, we would definitely stay again.

We love the center location! Put us on ground floor per our request bc of husbands disability! Some areas are "dated" but they do best they can with what they are working with! Parking is tight, to say the least!

Clean, bed was comfy, staff was great, place shows it's age a bit, but overall nice place to stay for the money, would def stay here again.

Rooms need updating. Been staying with them for many years . Great location

I like that the Hotel is close to the beach and restaurants. Parking was terrible at the back of the Hotel. When there was no parking space at the Hotel you had to park wherever you can without getting a parking ticket violation from the city.

Close to everything Could use some updating had problems with the toilet flushing

Cold AC , great environment Only allows 1 car per guest/room and we met family and shared room. Now they did allow for our 2nd car because they were not busy. For that we were grateful!!

The staff was very friendly. The location was great for walking to at least 5 restaurants! The picture of the room is exactly as it is, the furniture is metal and all rusted from the salt. No breakfast, lots of roaches, beds were hard as a rock; didn’t even stay the second night. The bathroom was so small you couldn’t close the door.
