8/10 – A Beautiful Stay Surrounded by Nature We stayed at Pramana Watu Kurung for part of our honeymoon and overall had a really lovely experience. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s tucked away in nature, and the views from the main restaurant and infinity pool are incredible. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful to switch off and enjoy the beauty of Ubud, this is a fantastic choice. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly throughout our stay, and the buggy service between the main lobby and the villa area was always quick and readily available. One of the highlights was definitely the spa. It was spotless, relaxing, and we both loved the couples massage and flower bath. The therapists were excellent, checking in throughout the massage to make sure the pressure was comfortable and that we were enjoying the experience. There were just a few things that stopped it from being a perfect stay. The bathroom was completely outdoors, which wasn’t really for us. We understand it’s part of the concept, but having the option of an indoor bathroom with an outdoor shower would have been much more comfortable. The wardrobe was also located in the outdoor bathroom area. Because of the humidity, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving our clothes there, so we ended up keeping everything in our suitcases inside the room for the duration of our stay. It wasn’t a major issue, but it wasn’t ideal, especially for guests staying for a longer period. The only other minor point was that, while the staff were incredibly kind, they could sometimes be a little too attentive. We were woken up one morning to ask if we’d like the room cleaned, and despite mentioning a few times that we’d settle all restaurant and spa charges at checkout, we were still asked several times during our stay. That said, these are relatively small points in what was otherwise a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to experience the peaceful, natural beauty of Ubud.

The food was absolutely delicious! Our room was way beyond our expectations!! My favorite thing was having breakfast and enjoying the incredible view! And every employee was so friendly! Thank you! I can't think of anything that could have made our stay any better!!!

Our villa was spacious and clean, and the private pool area in the backyard was truly the cherry on top. The villas are quite old and built mainly from wood, which results in high humidity that is noticeable at night. Because of the wooden structure, everything tends to creak. The mini-fridge and air conditioner are also outdated, and the air conditioner can sometimes have an unpleasant smell. The bathroom floor showed signs of age as well, with visible wear and spotting. There were also small cracks in the wood, which allowed a gecko to come in one night — something that is quite common in Bali. It was harmless and simply stayed on the ceiling.

Our first time to Bali and this place was excellent. Our room had a view over the valley and privacy. We were close to rice paddies, so we got to see farmers working the land. There was a shuttle between two locations which made it easier to get to town and back. The people at the hotel were all very nice and helpful. The food on-site was very good. Water wa provided daily. Loved the breakfasts. The hotel uses conscious methods for mosquitos but my husband was sent to the small. Appreciate what they are doing, just a sensitivity.

Very peaceful and serene environment.

The restaurant area and the food were good, and the staff were friendly. The rooms smelled absolutely terrible. As someone with allergies, staying here was a nightmare. The “windows” shown in the photos are just decorative — once the door is closed, the rooms become completely pitch black with no natural light at all. You genuinely cannot tell the difference between day and night. This is my second trip to Bali and I’ve stayed in many different places before, but this was by far the worst experience. When we asked to change rooms, they showed us other rooms that were just as windowless and had the same bad smell.

Property is absolutely gorgeous. Views are incredible, very serene. Cleanliness was mediocre. My room was beautiful but not cleaned well. Very disappointing . Pillows had smell like they weren’t clean, restroom was nasty.

I recently stayed in the pramana resort on my honeymoon and took the BIMA villa , and I can confidently say that it is worth it. It is worth the time and money. Let me start with the treatment which was 5 stars, the food of the resort’s restaurant 5 stars , the nearby activities 5 stars. I would like to the thank the pramana watu kurung management and staff for an amazing experience. If I ever was in Bali again, most likely will come back. Thanks. Once you book , highlight to the front office of the resort that you request overall cleaning and *deep cleaning* of the villa. You have to understand that you are booking a resort that is in the middle of a tropical jungle which is amazing and quiet. Therefore, insects are quite normal and that is why deep cleaning is essential and remember to keep the door to your room always closed to avoid insects entering the room.

The staff and restaurant The resort was not sound proof, you could hear the staff talk, sweep, and the pack of dogs fighting inside your room. It’s not private or well suited for honeymooners or romantic. Not worth the 1.5 to 2 hour drive from airport.

The room was great. Breakfast delivered to your room or at restaurant. Turn down service was good too. All the staff were absolutely so attentive. Would still recommend but just things to note The property was beautiful and the main room was great. In our suite our bathroom was outside, which whilst not unusual for Bali, the positioning could’ve been better as when ordering room service could see right through there was a blind but this was awkward . Hotel restaurant is a bit expensive for what it was and there wasn’t any restaurants within walking distance. Whilst they offer a shuttle to ubud it isn’t really into ubud rather a stop on the way so you then you need a taxi.

The hotel is set in a unique natural setting. Incredible service and a great breakfast. I highly recommend it! Nothing

Very unique and peaceful resort in Ubud village with all necessary amenities amazing staff and delicious food

•bit further to the city center but the place is perfect if you just want to enjoy a quiet,relaxing time surrounded by nature. •bit harder to get a grab as there are some regulations from the city as a support for locals(they have a bit of a higher price than grab). •food is good lots of options to choose from •definitely would recommend the cooking class if you want to do something different •enjoyed the morning yoga classes Sad we didn’t stayed a bit longer.

Felt really close to the nature, the cliff side view was breathtaking. Pool was amazing too, very respectfull staff. Full 10 on 10 for this stay.
