It’s a beautiful property with the most hospitable staff. The water purification experience was mesmerizing. The manager Ms. Devi was such a sweet lady, she took such good care of us. Nothing.

The room facility was much better and even bigger than I imagined. Perfect for a retreat yet close enough to Ubud The daily cleaning service could have been a bit more meticulous (for example the bathroom trash wasn’t cleaned out)

Royal Pita Maha was an incredible experience from start to finish. The hospitality was warm and genuinely heartfelt, and a special mention to Dewi, the resort manager, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The jungle views are absolutely stunning and so peaceful — the kind of scenery that stays with you long after you leave.

Every moment is amazing and memorable. Amazing stay for our honeymoon. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The SPA is a must! The perfect hotel for a honeymoon or romantic vacation. It also has the additional benefits of being close to ubud where there is a lot to see. Nothing it was all amazing.

Aging property, room maintenance and pool cleanliness

The property is great in terms of its nature, unbelievable the rivers the greens the waterfalls etc. The rooms are also very comfortable and clean. Location is very good, easy to find taxi. The hotel also helped us to arrange a driver for one day and it was very great and helpful. The breakfast was with hundreds of types of food from all over the world but all medium to low quality.. There is no common facility where you can socialize, The main pool ls just a pool even nothing to drink around, no music etc. It is as if you need to pass all your time at your room and at your pool but what if i want to drink some think enjoy some snacks for example in the room? No opportunity. No bars no easy restaurants. Such a highend hotel welcomed us with couple of packaged chips and nuts and highlighting 5 times that they are not for free. And the “exotic” fruit plate they prepared for welcome was having apple, tangerine, banana and luckily one snake fruit. We came here from Seminyak, a top notch hotel, and comparing the facilities and the hospitality there Pita Maha was a bit disappointing for us.

The views and villas and atmosphere Food is way below average..in room dining is limited and food quality is not good no fitness facility only yoga …food only caters to Chinese and asian visitors not many options for other

Staff are kind and welcoming and very keen to tiny little details and they have made our stay extremely comfortable For such a massive resort, there’s no wellness center available. I understand the vibe but still if I want to break out some sweat, it would be nice to have one in the property grounds Food quality is at best mediocre. For example, ayung at riverfront. Everything there is at best mediocre and the service and the views make up for the best. I think they should re haul the menu and make it better. Dewata lounge was also not up-to the mark Details to the amenities finishing. Bathroom door edges seems worn out, no bidet in the toilet, water gets stuck in the sink ( they fixed it right away though ) and also internet speed could be a bit more better Again, these are all minor things and might go unnoticed but if you stay for more than 2-3 days, it will leave an impression

Everywhere you look, there’s a sense of calm and harmony with nature that instantly makes you unwind. What made the experience even more special was the peaceful atmosphere that flows throughout the entire resort. It felt like a true escape—serene, private, and deeply rejuvenating. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the staff. They went above and beyond in every possible way, with a level of attentiveness and genuine care that exceeded all expectations. Their flexibility and willingness to accommodate every detail made all the difference. They played a huge role in making my brother’s 40th birthday truly unforgettable. From thoughtful touches to seamless arrangements, everything was handled with such warmth and precision. We felt incredibly well looked after the entire time. A truly magical experience—we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Very courteous and friendly staff. Well maintained and large rooms. Comfortable beds. Very beautiful and large property. Since it’s at various levels, climbing up and down at different places is a little tough for people above 60.
