Yanyan Resort Ubud

Woow where do I begin everything was so amazing the room was so nice and clean with refills every day of water tea and coffee. The breakfast was amazing basically a full meal with fruit and drink. The staff are so amazing, helpful and so nice and the food was great I would 100% stay again and I stayed solo for around 12 days. Thank you so much for everything I will be missing it!!! Only 1 thing I would say and it’s very minor when they cleaned my room one day they threw away 3 little coffee beans I saved to take home and must of thought it was rubbish which is ok because everything else was so perfect. Maybe if they think something is rubbish just ask and make sure. But like I said that is really minor and I wasn’t bothered about it.

- It smells fresh - The rooms are very clean - The wifi is great! - Breakfast was great, dinner was average but not bad - They place little flowers all over the room and it’s very cute - The view is amazing from the room as well as from the restaurant! - Bathroom was great, fresh towels are provided, bidet, and the water pressure in the shower is 10/10 - Staff are very quick to respond and are lovely Nothing serious - The location is a bit far from Ubud market and other touristy activities - other than breakfast, food can be average but still good - tiny bit difficult to find by drivers

Everything was great!! The food was okay and nothing exceptional.

Little things needed some TLC due to age or craftsmanship. Otherwise it was great

They have young staffs that help with room cleaning, but they start early (almost 7 AM) and they were very noisy (chatterings, laughing, and walking very loud- like they hit their slippers to the ground and made so much noise). And we stayed close to the restaurant area and we got woken up every day because of it. I did complain on the last night because I wanted to sleep in during my holidays. The last day got a bit better, but they got loud again at 7:30 AM :( I would suggest the hotel keep the staffs in check, work in silent.

This is a really beautiful resort that pictures cannot capture. To sit in the common pool area at the restaurant, or in your own accommodation to see the infinity pool in front of a lush green jungle is very majestic. The rooms and facilities are very modern and kept very clean, and with strong A/C, you will feel very comfortable coming home here after exploring what Bali has to offer. The service is also top notch with all the staff very friendly. This place is amazing and I would highly recommend anyone staying here if they want to feel the true 'Bali jungle' experience! I loved everything about this place. I would just note the location is a bit far from the city center, with not a lot of stores nearby, but renting taxi / hiring private driver, which is what we did is fairly cheap. A taxi / car ride to the city center is only 10 minutes but honesty, unless you plan to rent a bike and drive to locations yourself, you'll need to explore with a tour package to see all the most famous tourist locations or hire a private car / taxi anyway, regardless of where you plan to stay in Bali. As such, I would not let the location deter you from staying at this beautiful resort! There is also a restaurant on site that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in case you need to eat at the resort with hours of 7 am to 10 pm (22:00).

I stayed 1 night in a room, but unfortunately, it wasn’t the same experience, the room had a very bad smell.

Its far from central ubud. We booked two bedrooms unit and it was not on same level with kitchen completely separate difficult to operate when it was raining bad. The property felt like one bedroom hotel room and not a two unit villa. My luggage got wet coz the rain water came in the room from side door we never opened. Thr were no outlet in the room apart from two which was used for bed lamp. Breakfast and food was disappointing. Staff were nice and friendly but property was average.

Beautiful setting. Peaceful jungle views. Infinity pool and lovely decor of the property. Warm staff. Location is a bit far from centre of Ubud where main attractions are. At least 30min away from activities and sights.

the staff and the place nice experience

I was disappointed to discover that the advertised two-bedroom bungalow, described as having over 1000 square feet, was actually a small complex of two separate rooms with individual entrances. With our child, this arrangement proved inconvenient, and the small size of the rooms was insufficient for the three of us. We were subsequently moved to a slightly larger bungalow, which we appreciated, though it still fell far short of the 1000 square feet we had anticipated. Having booked the hotel primarily for its spaciousness and knowing its distance from Ubud, I would have chosen a hotel closer to Ubud had I been aware of the actual room size. The considerable daily expense of hiring a driver to visit the rice fields, monkey forest, and elephant sanctuary, along with the extensive travel time, impacted our experience. The restaurant's food was acceptable, but not as good as other places in Bali. Overall, the hotel was pleasant, but the location, room size, and food quality were shortcomings.
