It was not very clean, you could not swim in the swimming pool

Bosco, the dog who lives here, is just as sweet and cheerful as ever. Two years ago, we stayed in this hotel for two weeks, and even then it wasn't in the best condition - but it could be explained by the fact that COVID had just ended, and time was needed for renovation after the hard times, and the price was half what it is now. But since then, the condition of the rooms has only gotten worse, and one of our two rooms was in such a state that I can't understand how people with any conscience could think it's acceptable to house guests here and charge money for it. Judge for yourself from the photos: mold on the walls, mold on the ceiling, mold on the hangers in the closet, holes in the floor, holes in the sofa (and even without the holes it's impossible to sit on it - it has long needed repairs). The lawn on the terrace is constantly flooded with water - and on the last day I discovered that water was seeping into the room through the floor - my things and suitcase got wet! You step on the parquet and water squishes under your feet! By the end of the second day, after multiple demands and reminders from my side, the hotel manager graced us with his visit. All he could say was, "Sorry, we are very busy this season." How this relates to the condition of the hotel and whether he would be willing to accept apologies instead of money from me - the manager couldn't answer. I believe that the hotel management should be fired for incompetence. It is very sad to see how a beautiful building, obviously once built with love and care, is being so poorly managed. Don't encourage this irresponsible behavior with your money!

Stayed in Pool View apartment, Rooms are incredibly spacious with great WiFi and a lovely terrace. Bathroom is also very spacious and clean too. Staff are also so amazing, helped with baggage going up and down the stairs to the room and all extremely helpful. Paid extra for a birthday package for decorations, could not have asked for better, cake was beautiful and the Bath and floor decorations amazing they did an amazing job! Also shoutout to the cute dog who was the highlight of our stay.

This could really be a top location. Is in serious need of renovations. Paint work, lightning etc. The pool really was in a poor condition. Green edges, floating mold. Did not dare to use the pool

Staff very nice. Cute dog as well. Great view. Some might find the walk in to town a bit long, not a problem for me. Large room. Huge bathroom! No complaints from me. All good. They could have upsold me another night if offered a small discount? The tukangs re-roofing the villas had covered up a set of stairs with the roofing straw : nearly broke my neck. A person less firm on their feet could have had a really bad accident.

Really spacious, bathroom amazing, nice view, good value for money! In villa Sumatra - A bit run down, things needed fixing, safety deposit box wasn’t working, wardrobes were mouldy inside, uneven floor - tripping hazard. Pool wasn’t inviting- green steps- didn’t go in!

We loved the lush gardens and amazing views. The spacious rooms were outstanding and come with its own jaccuzi. Also the on-site restaurant was well priced and the food delicious. The bed was extremely noisey to the extend that my husband slept on the floor for the entire stay (during our honeymoon) to avoid waking up our baby. The slightest move or turn made very loud noises. The rooms aren't new but are authentic and have charactor. We didn't mind them being outdated but would expect them to be cleaned better.

Location and view Value for money

The staff went above and beyond to help me with places to go and local restaurants. Always there to with advice just what you need to have a great holiday. There was nothing I didn’t like, they couldn’t have done anymore to help me with my stay at the hotel.

First and foremost, the property's location was truly superb. The fact that it was situated in a beautiful valley, with a balcony overlooking the stunning views, added a touch of serenity and tranquility to my stay. I particularly enjoyed the unique feature of descending stairs into the valley to access the room entrance, which added an element of adventure. The staff at your property were exceptional. They were not only friendly but also displayed a high level of professionalism throughout my stay. I would like to extend my appreciation to the supportive manager, who went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. I must also mention the adorable presence of Bosco, the cute dog, who added an extra touch of warmth and friendliness to the overall atmosphere. The proximity of various restaurants adjacent to the property provided a wide range of dining options to choose from. It was convenient to have such a variety of choices within easy reach. Additionally, the presence of a nearby supermarket, just a short 3-minute walk away, was incredibly convenient for any necessary supplies or groceries. While the property itself was beautifully constructed, I regret to inform you that the maintenance of the premises did not meet my expectations. Upon entering the premises, it became evident that a thorough deep cleaning was required in all areas. Additionally, I noticed that many of the door and cabinet knobs were either loose, broken, or completely missing, which posed an inconvenience during my stay. In the bathroom, which boasted a luxurious Jacuzzi, I was disappointed to find that the Jacuzzi knobs were broken, rendering it unusable. Furthermore, the shower was also malfunctioning. Another concern in the bathroom was the fragile window that could not be properly locked and lacked a fixed grill. This posed a safety risk for visitors. Although the balcony offered a beautiful view of the large garden, I felt uneasy due to the overgrown side bushes, which created a sense of insecurity regarding the presence of insects or other creatures. Lastly, as someone who specifically booked a room with a pool view, I was disappointed to find that the pool area was poorly maintained and in a dirty state. The room itself had a damp smell, indicating a lack of proper ventilation, and it seemed as though nobody had occupied the room for quite some time. Furthermore, the room's lower floor location meant it received minimal sunlight. Although, the staff gave us an upper floor suite which was without a pool view but i book a pool view at a higher cost. Safe was available in the room, but was inoperative. I wanted to bring these issues to your attention in the hope that you can address them and make improvements for future guests. It is my belief that by ensuring proper maintenance and addressing these concerns promptly, you can greatly enhance the overall experience of your guests. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I appreciate your efforts in resolving these issues.

Exceptional

We did checked out earlier and let us see the rooms. The place needs desperate refurbishment, the duvet was a bit smelly and I find it overpriced for what offered. Make sure you see the room before you book in advance

location was good, room, terrace and bathroom really spacy???? when we asked for mosquito sprey, we immediatelly got it. view was amazing and watch sunrise just best! when we came in, room smelled as it was closed for longer time I guess, I would recommend next time (especialy when you know that guest is coming), to open the doors and let the fresh air go in… we did miss chairs on the terrace and glasses wasn’t really clean but that’s nothint we could not ask to change. :)
