Location, spa, food, Beautiful property and most of all the staff. Very kind, respectful and happy. Nothing

The hotel’s location is fantastic; it’s a maximum 15-minute walk from the heart of Ubud. The property itself feels like a piece of heaven, filled with giant koi fish, traditional statues, and such a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable, but what truly stood out was the staff—everyone was incredibly friendly and polite. If we return to Ubud, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! This property was amazing!!! It’s like walking into paradise with tropical plants and flowers everywhere. It feels like a monastery or temple that was turned into a beautiful hotel. It’s all set back away from the streets, but you can easily walk to every thing. The staff were all amazing and helpful. I travel a lot and this was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I highly recommend it. Nothing, I loved everything.

Very unique and pretty amazing grounds and aesthetic. Nice refreshing pool. More hooks in the rooms to hang items. More towels would have been nice too.

The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our stay feel relaxing and very welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and full of authentic Balinese charm. We also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning — fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable stay in Ubud with beautiful surroundings and warm hospitality.

The staff were very helpful , so polite and caring whenever needed they come politly. Breakfast tasted well Room was very comfortable and quite big. Pool was good but needs a lot of to clean the floor well. AC capacity was not equivalent to the space of the room , so it took some time to cool the room.

The staff was really helpful. For it's price it's probably the best Ubud stay.

Can't say enough good things about this property, the value for your money is insane. Picture this you wake up and you have a balcony to enjoy a panoramic view of the jungle while sipping some coffee, ☕️ this is how I imagined myself to be when planning my Bali trip lol. Anyways, you get a pool and the bungalows are so pretty, there's A/C and I don't get it, but there was no mosquitoes in my room yet it gives you that wooden rustic vibe it hits so hard sleeping here like bruh you are living on a movie, all the positives and 0 negatives. The staff was incredible very kind and attentive, I really appreciate their help at making this even more enjoyable. Thanks bros hopefully will see you again 0

This place was such a great find, set in a great location on one of Ubud's main streets, super close to supermarket, cafes and laundromat. Since it's family-owned the bungalows are built in the extended courtyard of a big beautiful traditional Balinese home, whose garden you'll pass through to get to your accommodation - you'll be immersed in gorgeous local architecture and decor, while the actual rooms are modern and very comfortable. Our room had a a big furnished terrace with a view towards the rainforest. The bathroom was closed off, which is something we tried very hard to find in order to avoid mosquitoes and other insects. Pool was a beautiful oasis of tranquility and floating breakfasts are available. Lastly, the staff was amazing, very helpful, funny and kind and we had the chance to socialize with the owner over dinner, which was a great experience.

The staff was so gracious, humble, helpful, just a delight. They were very helpful with luggage, went above and beyond to get us a ride when we needed it. The pool is beautiful, the rooms are a good size. Great value for your money. Would love to stay there again when visiting Bali

We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly like in the pictures. Rooms/bathroom were very clean. Location was perfect; bank across the street, restaurants, spas steps away. easy 30 min walk to Monkey Forest. 15 min walk to Palace. On a busy street with all amenities; but once you enter the property it was very quiet. Pool was great. Breakfast was amazing and abundant. Staff was friendly and attentive. nothing

Perfect and wonderful location, very quiet. Staff extremely attentive and kind. If you happen to be in Ubud, I would recommend staying at Gunung Merta.

- The mesmerizing zen garden in the property gives you a peaceful feeling in the middle of the busy Ubud - Tatstefully crafted traditional Balinese residence, a different experience over commercial hotels - Nice room and garden views all around - Good breakfast - The couple of cats and koi fish on property further added to the pleasant experience - It is faster to walk to key Ubud places from here, as the traffic will cause cars to move slower than pedestrians - Located on a busy Ubud street without parking or place to stop, so if you have considerable luggage, prepare to juggle - Very limited veg options in the breakfast
