The location was central about 15 minute walk to ubud palace. Grocery store nearby The road to the location was piled with trash. The room had a bit of mild on the walls and smelled bad at times

Fantastic location, amenities and simply all you need for your stay in ubud.

We stayed three nights in the their best room, villa suite. There are so many things wrong with this place. Lets start with checkin. Expect to pay extra before even checkin in. As soon as we arrived we were charged extra 3% for paying with credit card which came out almost 200000rph on top of 4.9 Milliom rph cost. There are no mention of this extra fee anywhere when i booked this place online. This place values aesthetics over function, safety and comfort. NONE of the villas offer any privacy. They used glass walls in the room and there are no privacy wall so from the outside, they made sure everyone can see how aesthetically pleasing it is. And it does look nice but it is perched up and faces all the rooms and pool so if you want privacy you have keep the curtains shut. Because it is practically all glass walls and all are not sealed there is no soundproofing whatsoever. You will hear people conversating clearly and unfortunately for us we had people talking all night past 5am !!!! And the hotel never intervened so we literally had to ask them to quiet down at 439am which they never did. And because its unsealed glass, ur room will never cool since there is only one small ac unit which was built into the closet which prevented circulation therefore you will be hot even with ac on. So the other room (living room/dining room) is essentially hot sauna. So you wont spend any time in that room. You will have bugs in the rooms since it is not sealed. The gaps between glass panels are huge and there are gaps where roof meets the walks so any critters like spiders, mosquitoes and other various small insects will come into rooms as we experienced. And the bathroom is open to outdoors, and we were surprised because none of the photos showed this and we were trying to avoid any open air bathrooms. And the room smelled strongly of cigarettes. Only thing that kinda helped cover the smell are the plastic burning smoke just outside the room. The smoke was thick and unavoida

My booking at Queen at Gunung Sari was cancelled only a few hours before check-in, which is completely unacceptable. While I was given an explanation that the current guest was unwell, this does not justify leaving a confirmed guest without accommodation at the last minute. Proper hospitality means taking responsibility and arranging a suitable alternative, especially in situations like this. No assistance, alternatives, or meaningful support were provided. I was left to deal with the situation entirely on my own, which caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. This reflects a serious lack of professionalism and reliability. I would strongly advise other travelers to avoid this property, as a confirmed booking clearly does not guarantee that your stay will be honored.

Good Nothing

Absolute hidden gem almost in the centre of ubud. Calm locality, no disruptions by traffic or nightlife, and yet, we've been 5 minute walk from the main street. Facilities are clean, room is beautiful, absolutely beautiful. AC works, balcony is amazing. You get a lot of storage room, lot of seats and chairs. You even get umbrellas. You get free drinking water, soap, conditioner, bath foam, coffee, sugar and more. The pool is just amazing, so beautiful, clean. There is a bar, you can buy beer and coke. The staff is category of itself. Everyone is so helpful, always smiling and always willing to help. They would do absolutely anything to make your stay better. They are constantly cleaning the premises, sweeping sidewalk and trimming grass. Our AC started dripping one day, they came and couldn't fix it so they called a technician. For the price other places wouldn't have ac or wouldn't even help. They even called me a medic when I got Bali belly. Really awesome staff always asking about your day. Really fell in love with them. They were available by WhatsApp 24/7. There is no other place I would like to stay in. There is no better place in Bali. I would even pay double for this. You really can tell it's a new hotel with new standards. If you are unsure of where to stay, don't be, just book it, trust me, you won't regret it.
