The room was nice and traditional, the bed was huge and they had a sheet on the bed which I like. Access to drinking water to fill your bottle was good. The air con was OK, not great, so the ceiling Fan was well used. I liked the sound of the fountain at night. The location is great down an alley way off the main street. Walking access only and watch the Dog poo land mines in the evening. Lots of cafes, restaurants and massage places in the area. Money exchanges close by. Access to everything you need really. Monkey Forest is walk-able from there. So is the Ubud Palace for the night Dancing displays. I loved the pool, despite the fact they are waiting for repairs to it, it was still lovely to swim in. Good Value for money and lovely Lady/family who runs it. Breakfast wasn't great, it's cheap but better to eat in a local cafe, Sorry. The toilet is beyond the shower so you have to cross the wet floor tiles to get to the loo once you have had a shower. Need some nets on the windows so you don't have to pull all the curtains for privacy. The rooms are dark with all the curtains drawn so you need a light on. Air con was a bit noisy at night but seems to be the norm in Bali. Noisy Guests arriving at 4 am en-mass, too early to check in but not the owners fault.

The bathroom was rudimentary basic. The pillow smelled like human natural oil. No breakfast offered and the staff did not speak any English. The walk to the hotel/house was down a deep, dark, and uneven pathway with many entrances to other home/hotel stays. In order to lock the room when you leave, you are given a key for a padlock that hooks two door rings together.

Friendly host, quiet location in the center of Ubud. Comfortable, beautifully furnished rooms. Great breakfasts.

location is fabulous. The room was fine and clean. Lots of mosquitos on the couch of the front desk. The hotel Needs to use mosquito spirals.

1.Pool has no pump, so there is stuff floating in the pool 2. Electrical could not handle water boiling cattle- breaker kicks off 3. Walls in the room need painting

They were so friendly and help is doing a late check in. We arrive late and the breakfast was delicious. Pretty good for the amount that we paid They were doing some innovations and the noise started in the morning.

I liked the temple in the middle of the property and the surrounding buildings. It was good to have a pool also. The staff was very accommodating.  The hotel is set back in an alley, and is not accessible by car. The alley is very busy with motorbikes.  The place is difficult to find. Once found, no problem, but taxis have trouble finding a drop off place.

The location is excellent: right in the middle of Ubud, yet still pretty quiet. Airconditioning was good, bed was made everyday, and breakfast was OK, not great. It is served on your own balcony, though, which is also pretty big. Also, I think many other reviewers are nitpicky: this is Bali, not a 5-star hotel in Switserland. Wifi was okay on our balcony, and they're actively trying to make it better everywhere. No fridge, no hairdryer, no water boiler. The bathroom needs a re-do and there is no ventilation in the bathroom at all. Needed to open the door and room windows to ventilate the bathroom. Staff is a little lackluster: they left the light and airconditioning on in our room, and left another room's door open after cleaning. They're nice and friendly, but it seems like they would rather have some other job. Wifi in the room was pretty unstable, but usable in an emergency.

Lovely place, a lot of green and water fountain. Friendly staff. There is no refrigerator. There was only one power socket, it was annoying. Could charge one device each time.

Good value for money. The rooms lacked electric outlets, only 1 in the entire room is a tad too little... The bathroom should be updated to have a separate shower. It's not clear whether they clean the bed blanket, but there was no sheet under the bed blanket.
