Sunrise Villa Ubud

can't say enough good things about Sunrise Villa Ubud. From the moment I arrived, everyone on the staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The service has been outstanding, and they always go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable and taken care of. The grounds are absolutely immaculate—beautifully maintained, peaceful, and relaxing. My room was cleaned thoroughly, and everything was kept in excellent condition throughout my stay. One of the highlights was breakfast each morning. The food was fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. And the view is worth the stay alone. Waking up each morning to the beautiful scenery surrounding the property was an experience in itself. The location is also fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, a large supermarket just minutes away, and everything I need is within easy reach. I originally planned to stay for a shorter visit, but I've enjoyed it so much that I've decided to extend my stay. That's probably the best recommendation I can give. If you're looking for a peaceful, well-maintained place with exceptional service in Ubud, I highly recommend Sunrise Villa Ubud.

Really big rooms, really big balcony with day bed. Overlooking the jungle. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Breakfast offered. Little bit dated, could do with a re-vamp.

Location was great, staff were helpful and service great. They upgraded our room as I mistakenly booked a room without Air-conditioning and due to low season, we were offered a couple of alternatives, unfortunately he best option didn't have two beds inside, as I was travelling with a friend. After 4pm, I was unsure who to talk to if any problems. They did upgrade our room, but Air-conditioning turned itself off every hour. The staff provided a fan which helped and they'd I'd try to correct Air-conditioning issue without success. The property is tierd with large steps going down with some levels with hand rails to assist.

Great view over the jungle. Spacious room. Huge terrace with chairs and sofa. And even a bed if you want to relax outside. Good breakfast. Location is about 30min walking to central Ubud. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Very quite. Nice swimmingpool. Friendly staff. We've had a very later arrival and they waited for us to accommodate in the room. Very visible Stains on the pillow cases. Had to ask them to change. There is a kettle in the room but no plug in next to it. Or anywhere around. Wifi is VERY BAD. They explained it by having a lot of people now. A lot it means 3 other rooms were occupied out of ten. After we asked about improvement, they installed a router in our room so it worked better. Bathroom : dirty, poorly cleaned, shower head had a filter inside which was all black, apparently with mold. I removed it as its was very dangerous to use. shower head was poorly sprinkling the water as its all blocked with water stone. I had to scrub the white stone by myself, so we cud take a proper shower. It took me only 5min to do it!!! Question -why it was NOT done by the staff?? Answer-no attention to details and simple careless. Glasses & tea cups were all dirty, had to wash it with soap. Again, its jurisdiction of the room attendants, not guests! Bathtub is very dirty & moldy, shud be cleaned with chlorine. We had to ask to clean the moss around the sink tap. Else nobody saw it. Toilet seat is all with scratched stains. Lots of big ants & lizards all over. Especially in the eves, there were a lot of red ants in sink. Looked like there was a mest somewhere behind the mirrow. Never had them in other villas. everyday we got several poops on the floor from the lizards that we have to clean ourselves, right next to our bed & few on the night table. Its disgusting, not even talking about danger for the health! I understand we are in the jungle and its nature. But somehow we never had anything like that in other villas we stayed. And they were all in nature too. Its simply because lack of cleanliness and care. After the rain (its Nov-Dec time) we discovered that water is dripping from the roof inside the bathroom & over one of the wardrobes. Horrible. How difficult is it to fix the roof?? Every rain we've had a huge splach on the floor. Few times we slipped and nerly felt.

The location and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed using the little gas stove to heat up my water. Breakfast was brought to my room. The rooms were dimly lit, which made it hard to read. The hot water ran out quickly, and all gone by the time it could be adjusted to a suitable temperature and the shower head sprayed onto the toilet if not held by hand.. The pool was located another couple of tiers of steps below my room. It's not the best place for people with mobility issues. The outdoor ceiling fan didn't work. The safe was loose and not screwed in and the doors were quite hard to lock at times

There are some issues with water (it is either boiling hot or cold). Wifi is very weak and almost not working. Staff is not always available at the office, it brings some additional privacy but slows down resolving of issues and getting answers.

With a friend, we rented the jungle houses, and we really enjoyed how spacious and comfy they were. We loved the terraces surrounded by greens: it was very peaceful and quiet. Having the breakfast delivered in the morning was amazing. The staffs were caring all the way, bringing a kettle, proposing to clean the room everyday and helpful with the luggages! The pool was also very pleasant. We managed to work there even if the Wifi connexion was not very strong. The stairs will keep you in shape!

Everyone very helpful especially Adi at front desk is really helpful.. Room is huge, really clean, own kitchen and great area on Terrance looking over jungle. Really quiet at night. Nothing

Breakfast was very good. Bed and room was very good. Bedding was fresh and clean. Balcony was amazing though needed a good sweep. Garden was beautiful. Pool was not easily accessible because of steep steps. Bathroom was dismal compared to the beauty of everything else. There was a strong odour of grey water emanating from the plumbing.

Friendly helpful staff. Moved me at my request from the Queen Suite due to the air-conditioning not working and the fan kept going off. Very happy with my new room. Sons happy with theirs. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Spent each day in the pool down in the jungle. Big steps down to the pool, but I had my son's to help Good way to get fit.
