Chakra Living Ubud

Staff was amazing. Location was excellent. I didn't find the path to the rice fields from our Location until the last day but they're beautiful and serene and a great way to start the early morning. Once you walk out turn right and you'll get there in about 20 minutes.

The location was perfect in the heart of Ubud and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town. All the staff were amazing with friendly smile and attention to detail. Guru was the hotels driver for the duration of our vacation, his happy nature and knowledge was impeccable. A good breakfast selection was served on the balcony looking over to the water palace and one of the busy art markets. Great selection of seating around the pool to chill and relax. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. It was my husband’s 60th birthday while staying at the hotel and the staff made it feel special and most memorable. Other services eg Balinese massages can also be organised by the hotel. The toilet is open into the room partially obscured by glass dividing screen, this may not suit all guests.

Friendly & helpful staff . Good breakfast Steep uneven stairs - some without proper handrails. Busy & noisy street without car access. Luggage had to be hand carried from the Main Street up the alley, and steep stairs. Room was cheaply furnished

Super clean and super cosy, very peaceful even thought it’s in the city center. Very tasty breakfast. I highly recommend

Wonderful central location near plenty of restaurants and shopping. The staff was so pleasant and attentive. Everything was kept sparkling clean. Just lovely! It also included complimentary breakfast daily! The dozen steep steps leading up to the hotel weren’t ideal, but we did know about them. The mattress was very firm.

The staff were SO AMAZING. They were always so sweet and friendly and were so helpful with our heavy bags very accommodating. I would come back for the staff alone! Location is literally right in the center with shops just right outside

The place was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located in the heart of Ubud, making it incredibly convenient. The staff were amazing—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and quality. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again.

Water was out a few times during my stay, but the staff was super-apologetic and got it fixed.

We booked the Deluxe Room on the ground floor, but upon check-in, we were given a Superior Room on the upper floor, which was completely different in size, interior, and price. Initially, the staff insisted it was the same booking with different photos, but after we showed them the details on our booking and mentioned we would contact Booking.com, they began to negotiate compensation. The situation was frustrating, and in the end, they offered us a massage and a drop to our next destination as compensation. Unfortunately, the massage was very poor — you honestly couldn’t call it a proper massage — but the drop-off was convenient. On a positive note, breakfast was delicious and amazing, the staff were friendly, and the location is perfect. However, the hotel is quite pricey given the outdated facilities, even if they’re following an Indonesian-style concept.

Property is literally at the heart of the city, where it is the busiest and chaotic. But once you are in the hotel you forget about all that, the noice quiets down. It’s a little secluded heaven within the city.

I loved loved loved staying at Chakra living! The staff were exceptional beyond words. The room was spacious extremely clean and had an amazing view in addition to being right in the middle of the market temples and restaurants. Although the streets were always busy but you couldnt hear a thing from the room. They set my bali stay off to a great start. Id choose to stay there again and again if i ever come to bali again. Everything was great! Very comfortable rooms! Very clean, great breakfast, the staff very polite and helpful and the location for me it was the best! In the heart of Ubud but with no noise! We literally coming out of the hotel and we were in a market and yet it was so peaceful ! Definitely I m returning back to Chakra living !!
