beautiful layout. garden oasis in the middle of ubud, feels like you walk in the gate and all the noise just stops. the free breakfast is genuinely delicious and convenient. rooms were spacious, clean, modern, quiet. free water available and staff were lovely. my bed was hard and uncomfortable, and unfortunately i wasn't able to get a good sleep. others i met there however had no issues with their bed. regardless, i highly recommend in da lodge.

The place was clean and honestly not bad for its price considering there’s a pool and free breakfast included. The overall area was decent, and although the AC is switched off during daytime, they do provide a fan which helps The bed was honestly one of the worst parts of the stay because it wasn’t sturdy at all. A German girl staying on the upper bunk usually came back late at night and every movement she made caused the entire bed to shake and make loud noises , not her fault of course, but the bed frame itself really needs improvement. The curtains also didn’t help much with blocking the light. Another challenge was the very small main entrance, if you’re bringing a suitcase or large luggage, it can be difficult. The reception is also quite far from the entrance and there’s usually no one at the front, so you really have to carry and manage everything on your own

Beautiful property tucked away from the noise of the Main Street. Lovers having a pool and the banana pancakes a breakfast were amazing! Really welcoming and friendly staff! Definitely would stay again!

Staff were nice and very good location, it is not a party hostel I would recommend it for people who want to have a more chill time but still you are able to meet some young people.

The hostel is located in the center of Ubud, which is amazing, you can easily walk around town. I extended my stay about four times because it was affordable and great. The free breakfast is incredible considering how little you pay for the accommodation. I requested just fruit since I’m vegan, and it was always great. The beds are clean, but the bathroom cleanliness could sometimes be improved, although for the price, I wouldn’t complain much. The staff are great and very helpful. The venue itself is beautiful, with a garden and a pool around. I felt very welcomed the whole time, thank you! I arrived late for check-in, and they asked me to leave my passport overnight, which I didn’t like. It felt uncomfortable since the value of my passport is far greater than what I was paying to stay there. I had to leave it because they only accepted cash after 11 pm and I didn’t have any. Other than that, everything else was good.

Great stay at In the Hostel! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a relaxed vibe. Perfect spot to chill and meet other travelers. Would definitely stay again ?

The breakfast buffet option was really poor. I took a private room and had a lot of issues with hot water which they fixed promptly but was still an annoying experience

Nothing to complain, just be aware that you have to go "up level" of the streets to reach the accomodation.
