The property is simply beautiful and full of authentic local charm yet fully modern and spotless. Facilities and views are outstanding. The meals are made by the family and were fantastic. Service was just wonderful and the location in Uchisar is a great antitode to the bustle of Goreme. Nothing.

The options for breakfast were rich and delicious. The hospitality of Ayse and the staff was very nice. There is also a nice panoramic view on the terrace which I highly recommend :)

Where to start? Everything went very well. From the check in to check out, the host was always there for help. The breakfast was really good. You can watch the balloons and the city from their terrace.

La maison de Şişik is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is tastefully decorated, while honoring local traditions and atmospheres. The view from the terrace is splendid. Breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. We are particularly grateful to Ayşe for her kindness and generosity. Thanks to her, we were able to go on a horseback ride without worrying about the organization, discover the Rose Valley benefiting from her knowledge and explanations, and have long discussions about the local way of life, the differences with France, and our respective customs! Her impressive level of French must also be praised! Take the time to explore the collection of decorative objects carefully sourced by Şişik himself, to stroll on the terrace at sunrise or late in the afternoon, and to chat with Ayşe and Şişik to learn more about local life and the adventures surrounding this house. If you are lucky, you may even experience the traditional dinner organized by Ayşe with the help of her family. We highly recommend taking part! If you are looking for an experience close to the locals and the traditions of the region, La maison de Şişik is the perfect place. Thank you again, Ayşe — thanks to your kindness, we had a wonderful vacation! Margot & Geoffrey NA

This place is truly a hidden gem in the charming city of Uchisar. The owner made us feel immediately at home and went over and beyond to meet our wishes. She organised a home cooked dinner which was the best food we had during our stay. Best part is to wake up with a view over the valley and have breakfast on the terrace on a traditional lounge set.

Great breakfast, friendly host, good location.

La maison Sisic was beautiful and very cozy! Amazing room, warm and the bed was very comfortable!! The breakfast also amazing!! Ayse, the owner, helped us with everything! Thanks a lot! We highly recommend it! ?

The place was really great! It was an ancient cave with restored Christian motifs in it. It was close to many touristic places, and restaurants. It was also a quite cozy place with lovely staff and environment. It has a magnificent view of pigeon valley. The room lights could have been better because the bathroom was a bit dark even with the lights on. Other than this, it was very beautiful!

Amazing view, service and breakfast

Great location and very friendly staff. Nice breakfast with a lot of fresh fruit. We couldn’t really regulate the temperature in the room (thermostat didn’t have any effect), and it was too hot at night.
-
Amazing breakfast spread Stunning view of the valley Spacious and comfortable rooms The kindest staff

It's a very cosy place. A lot of things with history. Located close to attractions. The outdoor terrace has a great view of the mountains and hot air balloons. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly!
-
Really incredible location made even better by the outdoor area/rooftop terrace that provides plenty of space to relax during the day as well as an incredible view of hot air balloons in the morning. The breakfast is also the best we’ve had so far in Turkiye. The room could have been improved by an extraction fan in the bathroom/some way to air out the room - especially as at times we did have some smoke from outside come into the room.

You will never find better hospitality and service than here. As soon as we arrived we were met with the friendliest owners, a complimentary breakfast and a room upgrade. Surely we could not expect for the stay to get even better, but it did! Sisik showed us around Pigon valley, Aisha arranged for different excrusions, and both of them continuasly made sure we were comfortable. Extraordinary room, with amazing roof top terrace overlooking the hot air balloons in the morning, pigeon valley and Uchisar castle. Clean and comfortable. Best stay we have ever had, and could ever wish for!

Exceptional

Breakfast was really good. Amazing views from the terrace, you can easily catch the hot air balloon ride from there. Very authentic location. Bathrooms can be improved.

La Maison De Sisik is the most amazing place! The decor is as beautiful as the views, the breakfast is exceptional and they also serve wonderful dinners. Aysenur and her family are very helpful with organizing anything you can think of or need. Her father Şişik has the best antique kilim collection right near the hotel......I went crazy in there We will be back for sure! I really cannot think of anything.

I 100% recommend this place if you’re visiting Cappadocia! Everything about this hotel was exceptional! The owner is extremely kind and generous, we arrived at 9 am and she let us check-in without us asking about it then she invited us for breakfast whereas breakfast shouldn’t be included on the first day. The breakfast was amazing with fresh fruits and variety of jams, the lady makes you omelette in the open kitchen and the ambience just feels like home. It’s the simplicity that just makes everything in this place so cosy and comfortable. The room is very beautiful and clean, even the bathroom has some beautiful details. The hotel in general is just so beautiful and they make you feel like home.
