Nothing to mention The room has a lot of insects of all kinds. Going upstairs is a big risk due to the difficulty of the stairs inside the room. While you sleep, you will notice large ants walking on your face and body. The restaurant is far from the hotel. You must move to the restaurant. The restaurant does not offer any juices or drinks, only water, with a full board stay. There are no toiletries in the room and the staff does not respond to your requests. WiFi not working in room you have to go out of room to enjoy slow wifi Also when you leave the hotel, it will not take you to the seaport.

The room was fine and very clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were tasty and offered a good variety. On the downside, the bathroom definitely needs renovation.

This is an intimate lodge on the island of Ukulhas, with only four rooms, in contrast to many of the bigger box hotels. The room is somewhat spacious, with high ceiling, lots of natural light, and very clean. The electrical and wifi are good, and the AC not bad. A nice breakfast is included with the stay. Mattresses are very comfortable - a rare instance where you actually have a mattress top. Staff is very helpful with any needs you may have.

Breakfast options were good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nearly throwing up every morning when turning on the shower, water smelt like it was being pulled out of the drains. Fridge also smelled terrible, nor did it work. TV didn't work either, and the ceiling fan was noisier than a diesel generator.

Friendly personale og clean good beds. The room og special the bathroom room needs a complete make over. Sign of water leaking from the roof. As my daughter said back home this here would be the worst building in the town.

The staff cooking dinner and welcoming guests was very friendly and helpful.the rooms nice and big with good light and warm shower UKHULAS IS A DUMP, A PERMANENT BUILDING SITE IN EVERY BLOCK. ALL BLOGS ABOUT UKULHAS ARE OUT OF DATE OR ARE KNOWINGLY DECEITFUL. BUILDING NOISE EVERYWHERE EVEN ON THE BEACH BUILDING RUBBLE EVERYWHERE ALMOST ALL PRIVATE GARDENS CEMENTED OVER. A NEW TAKE ON JONI MITCHELL S "THEY PAVED OVER PARADISE" in addition to the building noise permanent thumping music at highest volume from Coconut Hut on beach. Staff unwilling to turn it down just a little and very aggressive about it. THE ACCOMMODATION: NO COMMUNICATION BTW OWNER AND STAFF SO NOBODY TO MEET ME AT THE FERRY. SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS NOT CONVEYED BY OWNER TO COOK. ALTHOUGH FLOORS ARE VERY CLEAN THE FURNITURE AND DOOR MOULDINGS ARE NEVER DUSTED, SO RELUCTANT TO HANG UP ANYTHING OR PUT AWAY ON SHELVES

Great host that really took care of our topics like getting a speedboat and a girl change. Breakfast was good and on the agreed time the room was nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and the wifi was great. There were even fins that we could use for free. The location was very close to the beach and quiet. The room as well as the bathroom I was staying in was mouldy and smelled really bad. After the first night out of four I asked for a change. The house could organize a hotel change for me free of charge after the second day. I really appreciated that. It had rained often before my stay, nevertheless the state of the room is not acceptable for a hotel.

I can recommend this hotel to anyone. Great communication, well-equipped rooms, delicious breakfast (I had the Maldivian one), regular room cleaning including fresh towels. The location is central and quiet. The owner is an interesting, open-minded and chill person who will help you with anything.

We had a very nice stay @ Holiday Haven. The staff was polite, friendly and helpfull! The location was good, nearby the bikini beach and harbour.

Beautiful little hotel right between the island Main Street and the bikini beach. Both Lackey and David were really helpful and charming. We stayed in the family room and the kids really liked to stay on their own on the loft. Beware of that the stairs are really steep though, so I wouldn’t let small children sleep on their own up there. Speaking of sleep, the beds were really good! Breakfast was ok (ordered the evening before) with a standard selection. The local dishes were really tasty and the fruit platter was generous. Small grocery stores just a few minutes away and the bikini beach approx a five minute walk away. Beach bar Ocula was the best! The trip from Male to Ukulhas was a bit of a mess since we did not get information about the name of the boat we were booked on. And it was total chaos in Male with a lot of boats coming and going and no information about the destination of them. Since there were only two boats per day we were anxious we’d miss our slot. When I finally called the hotel it was all sorted quickly though.
