Nice, clean room. Very friendly staff. I accidentally left my swimsuit behind, and the alerted me straight away and turned the transport back to pick it up. Good breakfast.

Location was great. Staff was nice. Breakfast was such a wonderful surprise after 2 weeks on local islands. The free water refills was great too I wish they gave a real blanket but only a sheet seems normal for the maldives

The manager (owner?) was so personable. My room was near kitchen and near the street. I could hear noises from both.

The place itself is very clean. The breakfast is sufficient. You get a choice of something like an omelette and they also have bread, fruit, a pastry, and sausages. The beach is steps away, and there are also good restaurants very close by. I messaged one of the numbers on their own booking page and was told my transportation getting there and leaving would be arranged without a problem. Apparently, the "owner" had made false promises. I was supposed to get a ride for $40 from my resort to Ukulhas between 11:45-12. The day comes and I'm waiting. Someone else (the manager, I later found out) messages me at 8 am that same morning, asking me if it's possible I make it to the nearby island of Rasdhoo. I decline, saying that wasn't the arrangement. He says ok. Hours pass and now I'm waiting in the reception for my ride. I message at 12:14 pm to let him know I'm waiting. He replies with information about the hotel. Then he calls me to tell me to get to Rasdhoo again. I ask my reception and they quote me $26 for the ride over. I tell him I'm not willing to pay any extra for a ride I was already promised. We hang up and I assume that means he's coming anyway. Nope, he calls back saying I need to get to Rasdhoo. Now, the resort I was at quotes me $45. He agrees that the ride over to Ukulhas will be on the hotel, so that's fine. I get to Rasdhoo at around 2:30, and now I'm stuck waiting till 5:00 for the speedboat to arrive. There was nothing for me to do, especially with all my luggage. There was also no one to ask about where the boat was supposed to be coming. So, I was on edge the whole time, waiting to see if this next boat would come. Finally, it gets there and I make it to Ukulhas. Upon arrival, I get nothing about apologies for my ordeal. I'm not the type to be confrontational, so I was angry, but I tried to let it go. When I get back from dinner that night is when the manager approaches me to try to explain the situation.

I didn't like that I only stayed three nights.

We recently completed a fantastic four-night stay at the Paguro Beach Inn, and it was the ideal spot for our family vacation. Traveling with my wife and two children, finding accommodation that is comfortable, convenient, and genuinely welcoming can be tricky—but the Paguro Beach Inn exceeded all our expectations. We were given a spacious room that was perfectly configured for our family of four. The beds were comfortable, and the room was kept immaculately clean throughout our stay. Crucially, the air conditioning worked flawlessly, providing a cool retreat after a long day in the sun. The fact that the environment was quiet and relaxing at night was a huge win, ensuring everyone got the rest they needed. The name truly says it all. Being just steps away from the beach made our holiday hassle-free. We could easily manage quick trips back to the room for dive mask, sunscreen reapplication, or nap time. What truly sets this inn apart is the staff. Every single person we interacted with—from the front desk to the housekeeping team—was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive to our family's needs. They offered fantastic local recommendations and were always quick to assist, which makes a huge difference when traveling with family. Their willingness to accommodate small requests made our stay incredibly smooth and enjoyable. ​Summary: If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, and perfectly located base for a family beach holiday, look no further than the Paguro Beach Inn. It offers great value and a truly personalized experience. We highly recommend it and are already planning our return trip! Nothing ! Everything was perfect.

The staff made us feel completely at home! They were always smiling and kind. The hotel is very clean, and they clean the rooms every two days. Beach towels are also provided, which is very convenient. They offer a variety of excursions, and you can easily arrange an activity each evening for the following day. They also organise transfers to and from the airport and the Ukulhas port, so you don’t have to worry about carrying your luggage. The beach near the hotel is beautiful, and there are great opportunities for snorkelling. The island itself is small, and you can explore all of it within a couple of hours. During April, it’s wonderfully peaceful and less crowded. We had an amazing time and are already looking forward to returning to Ukulhas — we will definitely be choosing Paguro again!

Everything was simply amazing. Solaman, the manager, was the perfect contact for all the needs you might have. The hospitality is very high level, everything is aimed to make your stay more comfortable. There were no issues so far, it is a place I would surely go again and recommend! Nothing :)

Distance to the beach. Nice beach. Available sunbeds on the beach. A lot of shadow under the palm trees. We had room above the kitchen ( smell from the kitchen, noise eary from the morning -chopping,...) Food was limited, every day the same,boring... In island you can not find relaxing area due to constructions of many buildings ( new hotels).

Clean and comfortable rooms, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast provided but in my opinion not 'fabulous'. Great location close to the beach Unfortunately the balcony was a bit disappointing, there is a big building part way through construction {although no construction work was actually going on while I was staying at the hotel}, which wasn't shown on any of the pictures on the listing when I booked, this building completely blocked the view from the balcony. It was a free upgrade so guess I can't complain too much but if I'd paid extra for that balcony room I wouldn't have been happy

Clean and comfortable room, very helpful and kind staff, good breakfast and dinner, convinient location very close to the beach. It doesn't have reserved space near the beach or sunbeds for it's guests, unlike some similar hotels nearby.

It was our second time here. At Paguro Beach inn we spent 10 fantastic days. Starting with Solaman, the manager, kind and ready to satisfy every request always with a smile, or a pat on the back after a "good morning". Then there are the two "experts" of the trips, who take you into their Maldivian world with the naturalness of their gazes: we saw manta rays, large and small sharks, rays, multicolored fish, swimming under our skin. We saw the Sand Bank again - done at seven in the morning: it was just us; owners of a strip of sand for a magnificent hour... We went to Desert Island with the little Sand Bank with some unique colors, as well as, thanks to the fantastic Captain who made us vice-captains for a day and pilot the speedboat for a short time. We had full board and were pampered every day by Ramesh and his "smart-eyed" colleague . Ramesh is kindness personified, we have often chatted and smiled, as well as naturally asking you for the dishes on the à la carte menu for lunch; as well as bringing you the two bottles of water per meal included in the offer. Dinner and buffet breakfasts; always plentiful and varied; I loved the salads, the fish, the pasta with tomato sauce, chapati and mashuni and the cake with carrots and cinnamon ....a sign that there are special people in the kitchen. Every two days the room is redone ; two other nice and jovial people take care of the cleaning. The room was spotless. With them we played with towels to compose various shapes ... In the morning at seven you go to the beach a stone's throw away literally barefoot you find yourself on a golden beach with a breathtaking sea panorama. The coral reef is the best in the Maldives; we toured other places but this one has a variety of unique fish and corals, as well as a transparent water colour; we also saw and played several times in the morning with sea turtles rising to the surface from the seabed. Unparalleled.

Good staff, good food, clean rooms. Everything was good.

They pick you up at the port when you arrive. Very close to the beach, there are lot of different supermarkets nearby and they are open until late night. They clean the rooms every 2 days and you get free bottles of water everyday! The staff is very nice, they also organize trips, we went on a sandbank and manta ray trip, it was magical! The food is also great, it’s either a’la carte or you can choose from the menu. You get different special desserts after dinner and lunch. Hot water runs out really quickly.
