Didn’t have hot water in the shower (outside was very hot so we managed but still)

A little dated but great for a budget traveler who is used to budget conditions. Overall great!

I think is a really good choice. The bed was comfy, the staff kindly, is very close to Padang Padang beach. It really worth for me Probbaly the only thing is that you can’t manage the water temperature in the shower. But it was very hot, so it didn’t mind me that the water was a little bit cold. And at midnight it was always out of water, so if I wanted to take a shower I had to wait until next morning

They have bedbugs it is horrible itching day and night, avoid it at all cost

Very good location as it is very close to the main street in Uluwatu leading to the beach. I like the idea of the colorful containers and met very cool likeminded travelers there. No hot water in the showers. That sort of ruined my experience.

The room is small but it is good for what you need: a place to sleep. The AC is working nice and it has a small table to put your stuff there. The bathroom could have a bit more things. The lock was a bit tricky to operate because it was a bit bent.

The room was bigger than I was expecting! Quieter than other hotels as the room is far from the road. Nothing in particular. For the price, everything was great!

Convenient and in the middle of Uluwatu, perfect as a base for exploring the surrounding area. The owner does her best to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Could be more tidy

The location was fine I have never been to a dirtier hostel. They don’t clean between the bed and the wall, there is a crazy amount of trash there. Walls are stained, the toilet is yellow, the whole bathroom is just dirty. I also saw a spider and a lizard in the room.

Cheap price with great central location my second time staying. Friendly and helpful staff. Beds are fine and all you need if simply after a bed. The people that stay here seem to be respectful and quiet. Not a big concern for me at the price but others may appreciate knowing that the place is a little run down, cigarettes usually left on tables and not cleaned regularly. The kitchenette is pretty junky and unsanitary could be easily improved. Water facilities are often left empty for entire day and had to replace tank myself. No hot water in showers. Again nothing of major issue for me at the price but others likely would appreciate knowing.

Very price worthy. It’s a room with a double bed and a bathroom, if that is what your looking for then this is the right place. Staff was very nice and the outside area is quite cozy. Free water is nice as well. .

I would only recommend for travellers with a budget focused priority. Honestly, the facilities were really disappointing. There was a lot of mold in the container to the point that a full set of mushrooms were growing in the corner! The water dispenser was empty for a whole day. I extra paid for laundry service was returned late and smelt terribly of damp - I needed to get them washed again at my next location.

Disappointing

We booked Kubu container for 4 nights but ended up staying for 1. When we walked in to the room there was a foul smell of dampness and mould but at a quick glance we thought it was everything we needed for 4 nights. It wasn’t until a closer inspection we realised how uncomfortable we actually were. There was dust and dirt everywhere, caterpillars and ants seemed to be in every corner of the room with caterpillars even falling from the ceiling. The desk was full of mould and there was left over rice on the desk from a previous person causing the ants to swarm getting all over our bags and all over the bed. It wasn’t until we opened the door to the bathroom we realised how bad this actually was. The smell in there was so vile I had to hold my breath to go to the toilet and wasn’t even able to brush my teeth. The sink was absolutely disgusting so I asked the staff to clean it for us and they did a little bit but definitely not to a good standard. For some reason we stayed there for one night and both woke up with scratchy throats and in the morning made the joint decision to go and stay somewhere else. The only good about this place is the location and the man we spoke to after checking out was very apologetic and helped us with who we should talk to in order to get a refund (in this case we have to go through booking.com themselves however it has been 5 days and we still haven’t had a response).
