The only downside is the location right next to the main road. Otherwise it was very comfortable, staff were helpful and the dinner and breakfast were very good. Just that the main road is so close that it was a bit noisy.

hospitality. we called them from the car, saying that will be arriving late. their restaurant is open until 21:00 we arrived at 21:45 and they waited us, and kept the restaurant open one hour later than usual so we could have diner

Simple accomodation, but clean and sufficient for a sleepover. Restaurant is also ok for a simple dinner and a good beer.

The area is perfect if you want to go exploring the surrounding ski-resorts, and there are quite a few within 15-30 mins. This is what we did and found the location perfect for it. If the weather is bad, it's usually better on the south side of the main alpine ridge. Within 20 mins you reach the Felberntauerntunnel and within 35 mins you are on the south side in Matrei (Grossglockner resort) with it's beautiful ski area and panorama views of the Grossglockner. The hotel itself is by no means luxurious - it's a medium class hotel but the beds are very comfortable and it's very clean. The best is the staff and the food. The staff is amazingly friendly and makes you feel like at home while the 3-course dinner (we had half board) is really really good.

The staffs are really amazing and took great care of us during our stay. Nothing very serious to complaint about. In the morning you might hear noise in the corridor due to other guests.
