Hotel Nueve Ríos

The breakfast was good The bathroom smelled unpleasant, the hot water took a long time to come through, and the drain was clogged.

Quaint house, impeccable. Close to everything. Safe neighbourhood. Has no parking. There is street parking.

Nothing, all good.

This is a small hotel about 5 blocks from the City Centre of Valdivia so easy walking directly, or even better along the riverside because it is only one block from the river. Alternatively it is a $2 taxi/Uber ride to there (when raining) or to Isla Teca and its many good restaurants. Excellent breakfast, excellent coffee, good WiFi, very comfortable rooms and beds. No restaurant service but its not a problem The hotel warns you that on the upper floors, there is a wait for hot water to arrive at the shower. They are right and it can take up to 5 minutes to arrive once you start the shower running, but once you know, its no problem.

Located conveniently between the bus terminal and the centre of town. The bedroom's decor was lovely, and the big TV was excellent.

The location, cleaning, helpful attitude of the staff, the charm of the renovated house with wooden floors, very large and comfortable bed, very large room, bright colors. The breakfast could have been better. My impression is that the kitchen is only a place to prepare the breakfast, rather than cook, so what is served is actually unpacked and served.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was abundant with several coffee options, and the windows for checkout and breakfast were more generous than at some other hotels. The room was very clean and spacious, and the location of the hotel was convenient for walking to the river a couple minutes away, or to the city center. The entrance to the building was a little narrow so it was awkward to bring in large suitcases, but this was not a big deal.

Lovely breakfast and good location. Travelling alone I prefer more lively spots.

Location and facilities were awesome… charming restored house, super comfortable bed, & close to everything. What really set Nueve Rios apart though was the warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful, & professional staff. They deserve 11 stars!
