The location of the property is excellent. It is within short walking distance of the historic city center and located right next to the beautiful Turia Gardens (the park in the former riverbed). Cleanliness in the second room we were moved to was also good. Extremely disappointing stay with major discomfort and poor customer service We stayed for 4 nights, but unfortunately, the experience was very negative due to multiple issues: Air Conditioning & Ventilation: The AC is a portable unit with a hose sticking out of the window. It is extremely noisy, and because you have to leave it running to avoid the unbearable heat, it is very hard to sleep. Furthermore, there is no AC in the bathroom/toilet area, making it uncomfortably humid, stuffy, and hard to breathe. Plumbing & Insects: Due to the old piping system, toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. After the first night, my partner woke up with multiple bites on his neck and shoulders. We inspected the mattress and found nothing, but based on the location of the bites, we suspect there were bugs in the pillows. Because of this, my partner had to spend the second night sleeping on two chairs pushed together. To make matters worse, we found crawling cockroaches on the floor the next morning. Reception: When we reported the cockroaches to reception, the staff blamed us, claiming we had opened the window. Nobody had informed us not to open windows (which had to be slightly open anyway due to the portable AC hose), and given the extreme heat outside, we hadn't even opened them. While they agreed to change our room, they kept moving the timeframe (first "immediately", then "in 5 minutes", then "in 30 minutes"). Ultimately, we had to wait 2 hours, wasting half a day of our short holiday. Power Outages: During the last two nights, we experienced repeated power outages. This was a major issue as we couldn't run the AC in the heat, and the food we had stored in the fridge was at risk. Price vs. Quality: While the price was somewhat acceptable, it was certainly not the cheapest option available. Considering what we paid, we expected a much higher standard of quality and service.

The windows had kind of poison bars on the outside so there was in fact no extra escape possibility though the outside was the yard of the house. They claimed a deposit from my travel companion that checked in first which they would not give back before 4 hours after obligatory checkout. When asked if they could store the luggage till we got the deposit back and could travel further much delayed, they would charge us for luggage storage. I will never come back to this hotel.

Great staff, good location right on the park strip and next to the metro station. They offered many services like bike rental and beach equipment for a good price. A/C leaks a bit, shower door doesn't close properly. Very minor complaints

There was nothing to 'like'. Everything is very functional. Lots of rules. A rather controlled environment. The decor a great confusion of different things. A warmer, more friendly welcome and environment. The focus is all on efficiency and rules. A hotel needs to make you feel at home.

Everything Staff very kind and helpful

What I liked most about this property was its location and the exceptional staff. Ana, who checked me in, was incredibly helpful, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Throughout my stay, another lovely young woman answered many of my questions and was genuinely kind and caring. At check-out, Andres was just as helpful and accommodating. Because of my knee injuries, stairs can be challenging. I had mistakenly thought I had read that there was an elevator, but that was my error—there isn't one. Andres was very understanding and made the check-out process as easy as possible. Even so, the hotel's central location made it easy for me to walk comfortably throughout the city. Once I received my tourist card, I was also able to use public transportation to explore all over Valencia with ease. I also appreciated that my room was tidied every day, which made my stay even more comfortable. Finally, although it was a bit noisy, the portable air conditioner available in the room was fantastic and kept the room cool when I needed it. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel, especially because of its outstanding staff and excellent location. The only minor downsides to my stay were a couple of small issues that didn't significantly affect my overall experience. At times, there was an unpleasant sewage odor that seemed to be coming from the bathroom. It wasn't constant, but it was noticeable on occasion. For part of my stay, there was also construction taking place either in the building or very nearby. The noise could be quite loud during the day, making it difficult to relax in the room at those times. I understand that construction is often temporary and outside the hotel's control, so I don't hold it against the property. It will definitely not be an issue for you, unless there was something else that was going on, making this a more constant issue. Even with these minor inconveniences, the outstanding staff, excellent location, and overall comfort of my stay far outweighed these issues.
