The location is perfect, just a 5 min walk away to the castle. Beautiful surroundings and convenient amenities nearby. The communication by staff via Booking was also really timely, and we could ask questions easily. The pillows are really uncomfortable.

Absolutely terrible hotel manager. While the country was preparing for one of the worst floods of its history and the government was handing out instructions how to pack an evacuation baggage, I politely requested if our stay could be postponed or if we could cancel the stay without losing 100% of the paid money (We booked with a possibility to cancel up to 5 days before our stay, but unfortunately 5 days before our stay it was not known there would be floods - that’s how we lost the possibility to get 100% of our money back). The hotel manager responded that the situation will not be that dramatic, while the city of Valtice was preparing facilities for possible evacuation, the hotel manager kept telling us that there is no reason to cancel our stay because of “a bit of bad weather”. We lost our money, there was no sign of the manager wanting to find a good solution for both sides in a situation when we couldn’t come because of the floods, which are absolutely outside of our control. I do not recommend booking a stay here. If something unpredictable happens, you are screwed and without your money.

Manager was exceptionally helpful, and went to some length to facilitate a very enjoyable stay in this lovely city.

The rooms were adequate and not cramped. Everything was clean and the staff was pleasant. We were out late exploring the nearby Reistna and the kitchen still served us some hot food after they closed. No complaints

Everything was excellent. Hotel design, service, the staff, food and hotel bar :). Breakfast just extraordinary - even at 12 am ?. We also received a voucher for wine degustation as well as discount on wine ?. No stress with check out - what was the biggest +! We loved it all ?

Everything was great, location was perfect, staff was friendly, our suite with 2 bedrooms was very good for a group of friends, free parking was just behind the hotel The price was rather steep for the Czech Republic, also considering the fact that neither breakfast nor wellness were included in the rate

Location on walking distance from the city center of Valtice. Good restaurant inside the hotel and also a fine restaurant across the street from the hotel which offers traditional Czech cuisine

A great location with complimentary parking behind the hotel. The room was spotless and comfy. We really liked the air conditioning because it was a boiling hot day!
