Crystal Hotel Varese

My flight arrived very late in the night at Milan Malpensa airport, so I am glad I picked this hotel in the center of Varese with a 24 hour reception. The room was priced quite competitively, especially with an extensive breakfast included. The room was somewhat old fashioned, but tolerable for a one-night stay given the price.

The location is great, parking is easy, everyone is friendly and helpful. The elevator is large and the stairs are easy. I like the classic look of the hotel, it was built a while ago but is in good shape. The walls of the bathroom are all travertine, the shades are black out, the rooms have good built in cabinets for luggage and a mini fridge with a glass door so you can see your things. Air conditioning works well. No problems!

Clean and in a good location. Staff was friendly It was very noisy. Other guests were loud into the night and the sound carries. Also woken up early in the morning. Room was a bit dark and there not outlets suitable or numerous enough for a computer

Very good hotel for the money I spent. The room is quite comfortable. Reception accepted delivery from online shop for me - very kind. Good breakfast included. Situated perfectly - In the very centre The only little minus - a big mirror on the wall behind the table: it was inconvenient to work on laptop with my face in that mirror. But that's too small to be a real problem

Staff was really nice and accommodating for our family. It had charm. It was very dated. Didn't have plugs for our devices to charge. Happy we were only there for the night otherwise we would have had to buy adapters for our EU plugs. Although location had paid parking, it was not the best area for parking but we managed.

Friendly staff, I was able to store my bicycle in a secure location during my stay. A little bit of noise at night from a bar below, but nothing unbearable.

I love Crystal Hotel. I can't wait to stay there again. -

Decent hotel, very central in Varese. It is a bit old, but functional. The room could use a good deep clean, but on surface level the cleaning is ok. There were some small things that we fixed ourselves in the room, in example a clogged sink and the shower drain did not function perfect at first. Decent enough hotel. Good beds and gets very dark with the blinds down, so we slept well.

The bed was very comfortable with soft linens, and the shower had great water pressure and temperature. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in easy. The location is perfect for nightlife, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, a great stay! The fridge in my room wasn’t working, which was inconvenient. The hotel could use a small refresh, as some areas feel a bit outdated. However, the stay was still comfortable overall.
