Chi sceglie il Borducan Boutique Hotel cerca qualcosa di diverso. Non il classico 4 stelle con camere standard, ma un luogo autentico, romantico, silenzioso. Il soggiorno si svolge in una vera villa in stile liberty del 1924, situata nel centro pedonale del borgo storico del Sacro Monte di Varese, riconosciuto come Patrimonio UNESCO. Ogni camera, arredata con mobili originali d’epoca, è pensata per favorire il riposo e la connessione con l’ambiente circostante. Alcune offrono un balcone panoramico, altre pavimenti in parquet. Tutte sono dotate di mini-bar, TV e bagno privato. Il clima fresco del borgo rende superflua l’aria condizionata: qui si dorme con la finestra socchiusa e il canto degli uccelli al mattino. Il ristorante è aperto sia a pranzo che a cena. A mezzogiorno si pranza con vista sul Lago di Varese e il Parco del Campo dei Fiori, mentre la sera si cena a lume di candela in veranda. Il menù cambia con le stagioni e valorizza i prodotti del territorio. Non è prevista la presenza di bambini durante la cena, per garantire tranquillità e intimità. Il bar offre un’esperienza da provare: l’Elixir al Borducan, liquore alle erbe e scorza d’arancia, servito secondo tradizione. Perfetto per chiudere una giornata o accompagnare un dolce fatto in casa. La colazione è servita in terrazza, con vista aperta sulle colline e sul lago. Crostate artigianali, caffè preparato al momento, frutta fresca: un rituale che invita a rallentare. Il Sacro Monte è perfetto per camminare, respirare e lasciarsi ispirare. La Via Sacra, le cappelle affrescate, il santuario e il borgo medievale offrono un’esperienza culturale e spirituale immersa nella natura. Nei dintorni si trovano sentieri panoramici per il trekking o l’e-bike, belvederi sul lago, un osservatorio astronomico, piccoli musei e botteghe artigiane. Il Lago di Varese dista solo 15 minuti, così come la città di Varese con i suoi giardini, palazzi storici e boutique. Everything was perfect.

The view was espectacular. Weather this time of the year was perfect! Would definitely stay again. Simone the Chef was Michelin class. The personnel was extremely professional and courteous. Wonderful experience! The breakfast could have more variety. I would definitely enjoy some a la carte options. The cappuccino and espresso were fenomenal!

Breakfast was very good with many selections for discerning travelers. Dining room was spectacular for dinner and breakfast, with panoramic views of the valley. The hand painted roses around the beautiful dining room made such a beautiful setting ! Loved the dining area! No parking at hotel location. Parking was provided but a fair hike from the hotel. You must lug your luggage from parking lot to hotel. Not a problem for us. Just the facts.

A unique experience . Authentic. Amazing view. Even after our early departure the stuff prepared us a breakfast box on the go, remarkable. Having a breakfast and enjoying that view is a must in a travellers check list. Nothing much to say here. Just a little tricky to drive there but it though part of the experience.

We had a beautiful lake view from our windows. The bathroom was large. There were steps to get to our room, this was expected and understood because the hotel is a historic one. Everything was very clean, bed was very comfortable and other furniture in the room was adequate. Breakfast was really good, they offered many choices for beverages and food, way better than a continental breakfast. We liked the historic atmosphere of the hotel and area. They have their own coffee shop inside the hotel that locals use, this is a huge plus for us. The romantic dinner was adorable with all the candles and great service, the food was delicious (I eat a vegetarian diet and they made some of the best vegetarian dishes I have ever tasted). We liked the charm and hope to come back again someday. Nothing. Our stay was wonderful!

Everything is just perfect...location, accommodation, clean and heated apartment, crystal white bed linen, beautiful view through the windows, excellent breakfast. The car park is quite far away, which is difficult if you have heavy luggage.

The unique location, high in a historic village on a hill behind Varese. Staff were excellent. Room was large with comfy, king size bed and views to the lakes. We woke to the sound of the church bells. Restaurant food was overpriced and portions very small.
