outside of the room, which was in the ground floor of the opposite building to the main hotel, was a restaurant/cafe. We could not open the curtains of the window, as people were sitting outside or walking. There was also a lot of noise from the cafe/restaurant at night. After 11pm I asked from the reception at least to do something with the music. Also, there was not enough space to reach the bed easily from both sides.

Staff: Very friendly and well-mannered. Room: Very clean, and the furniture was of good quality. Although the room was advertised as having air conditioning, we were told it was not working and were not given a remote control. It was a bit warm at night and slightly uncomfortable for sleeping. The door lock was broken — when I tried to lock it, it came off and fell onto the floor. There were no tissues provided in the room either.

Great position, very central in Varese. Very comfortable and clean room.

The location is perfect. Close to shopping and adorable piazzas as well as some amazing restaurants and gelaterias.

All was in order barring a complete mess with regards to communication or even assisting when departing. The people manning the front of house and or interacting with public should be well ahead of the fake and not allow guests to find themselves in a situation that is costly. We were left stranded without a care in the world from the Hotel front desk not even attempting to assist basically oh well walk to a train station 2 km’s away in absolute drenching rain and in reality miss your flight. It was ridiculous as we had to run through the streets of Varese in pouring rain and as the bill was paid who cares was the overall attitude. As you are the hotel you should be in touch with what’s going on and not let people sit waiting for a taxi knowing the roads are closed or even offer to assist in anyway at all. Communication is key and always have your finger on the pulse of your establishment and happenings. Many good things, location and overall decent from many incl kitchen, cleaners, and those at the coal face however others not so much.
