Only the paid parking was the only good thing I can say. Oh, where do I start... We have been traveling as a couple for almost 8 years with a broad range of experience, and we seldom write negative comments but this one was worth to warn future guests. The price was 7-8 times more than what we experienced the place to be worth. The "how-to-open" door was way too complicated. Who puts 11 digit codes to the door with extremely small buttons? The window, despite the room having sea view, was way too small and we could experience nothing fancy. The breakfast window was not so welcoming. 1.5 hours felt a bit too awkward between 07:30-09:00. We were there at 08:10. There were also only a few items available to be eaten. It was not so fun when we had to share the last piece of cheese with 4 other guests. We looked at each other awkwardly. And nothing got renewed. The so called fancy coffee machine was a total a rip off. Latte was a brewed coffee with milk. Like what??? Also, who puts out raw eggs? All the guests, including we, took the raw egg to be boiled but it was totally raw. As we got to know, there were previous guests wished for raw eggs. Then what about boiled eggs? Nope. No boiled eggs. The owner of the place or whoever designed the place has either never seen any other hotell in their lifetime or too stingy. Nothing was usual. I wouldn't have made such comment if I hadn't paid over $130 for a single night. But I warn you, unless you pay 20 bucks a night or less, this place is not even remotely to be visited.

The hotel is clean and the location nice and central. What I didn't expect is to find no reception (it's all managed via code keys etc) and that the rooms were brutally small

Right in the centre, lovely building. Access to shared balcony overlooking the square and water views. Relaxed and secure.

Very poor

Very compact room expected and ok in principle. Room stupidly designed - pointless fold down table under tv restricted access to the window side of the bed. Bathroom super compact but OK design.

Nice breakfast. Sufficient instructions on self check in, as we arrived late. Excellent location. The room was not as in the pictures. It was in the attic, very small and with limited space to move around. The door to the wc didn't offer much privacy. No bedside tables.

Price (special offer) quality ratio was goo6. For the regular price the ratio is less favorable

It was very clean and in an excellent location, very convenient to restaurants and shops with views over the sea. Keyless property operated by codes. The kitchen facility was very good. Coffee was also available all day. I stayed for five nights. There was no change of linen and no offer of clean towels. The rooms seemed to be cleaned only when the occupant left. Breakfast was fairly good but repetitive. More fresh fruit would have been welcome.

The location was excellent. Completely automated. A code on the phone to get in, a long code to enter the room or to lock it when leaving. The room was very small, the bathroom smelled of mold, the room was too warm, so we had to open the window and thus exposed to street noise and mosquitos.

Perfect location in the middle of the city. Breakfast was great. Public parking was a rip off which is detrimental to the accomodation. If only an agreement between the guest house and the city was made, maybe guests could park for cheaper at the nearby parking lot using a sticker on the windshield or something.

Easy self checkin, nice location, good breakfast It was a little bit cold in the room, and the shower is really small

We liked the room (for 4 guests) although the one we were given 3 years ago was bigger (we were then impressed and wanted to come back!). The location is terrific, couldn't be better. We love Västervik The room for 4 people could have been a bit bigger, like the last time we stayed at the hotel. Apart from that, everything perfect

Good location with an amazing view, comfortable beds and clean bathroom Very small bathroom with no ventilation, breakfast was okay with only few options to choose from what to eat
